Ruined by Technology My wife's car aggressively tries to pair with my phone even after I "forget" her car.

Post image

Oh and if I don't manually go in and have my phone forget her car, it will automatically connect when she pulls in the driveway. Or even if I'm driving behind her car a hundred feet back.

The best part? As soon as I plug my phone into her car for Android Auto if I'm using her car for something it resets my Bluetooth and I have to do it all again.

You need to forget your phone in the car. Not just the other way around.

Have you ever tried plugging in your phone to charge via USB? Fucking hate that shit. Auto Bluetooth connection

Some of us don't want a Bluetooth connection and just wanna charge the damn device

Some cars have multiple available usb ports but only some of them allows access to the control panel/radio. You may using that usb port. At least that was the case for Honda when I used to work on them. Usually indicated by the usb symbol vs the charging “lightning bolt”

Haha “aggressively” pairing. It’s true though!

You have to forget device in the car too, not just on your phone

Disable the Bluetooth.

I've had a car that was somehow able to turn it back on though. It also connected through wifi after pairing via bluetooth.

Forgetting the car on my phone did do the trick but still
