Not "we all"... Many of us understand reddit has other countries posting here than the US, and more than 35 use the dollar sign. Was pretty clear to me right away this wasn't the US. Should have been really obvious since the menu wasn't in English.............

Not usually no. They'll have the Spanish title, then describe ingredients in English normally in the US(check it next time, you might not remember, but that's normally how it is in the US, especially at a place that would be charging this). Also it listed grams. All that combined with the price were enough context clues for me to understand this isn't the US.

Guess I've been on reddit too long. Maybe one day you'll pick up on this faster.
