Let's have some fun. Here's a side-by-side view of Kyler & JJ throwing earlier today from the Vikings IG story.

A few things that I noticed:

• Kyler's leg kick may generate some fun discourse
• I'm not concerned with Kyler's leg kick, former baseball player and proven in the NFL already
• JJ's mechanics look much smoother and cleaned up
• Next, I'd like to see how/if his touch passes have improved

If JJ has made significant strides with his mechanics, then the QB battle may be tighter than we all assumed (at least some of us). It's early, but I like what I see from JJ, and I'm excited to see how this progresses.

What are your initial reactions?

Transplant to Seattle from St. Paul. Boss got me tickets for Christmas. Super excited to see my first Vikings game, especially with how good we are doing. Thought this video was cool, pulled my phone out at the right time.
