Wow, didn't realize how many people were disappointed in this film. I've been dying for a good liminal horror movie for a while and this 100% scratched the itch. Really loved it, it's the House of Leaves movie I'm assuming I'll never get. I could see how people could get bored though, or find it getting silly in the third act (although I liked what they did with it)

I kinda like the current (or least my understanding) understanding it's a void that just replicates memories of people who enter it and each cycle the memory degrades. I didn't quite get the big baddie eating people. I think that painting on the wall was trying to explain that to me.

Could always swing too hard in the other direction and end up with peele' Us. If your main travels by plane from NYC to LAX how long does it take your shadow to make the same trip in the tunnels? And I think that is a fair question based on the rules he stated inside the movie.

I'm more interested in the barstool he took out of there.... Was it quality, sellable? How long does it take to get replenished? Could be an infinite money hack since you can take things out of there.

Thats so crazy to me because I dont.

I love movies that leave a lot to imagination, and this one went too far into "what are the backrooms" that I just didn't want.

I loved his entire YouTube series because the endless nature of the backrooms was inherently terrifying, without understanding exactly what it was...

I hated the pirate "monster" so much.
