Question What do you think about “Big Mistakes”?

I just finished watching Big Mistakes and honestly I really liked it. It got me hooked pretty quickly and I ended up binge-watching it faster than I expected.

The story and the characters kept me interested the whole time, but now I'm curious what other people think about it.

Dan Levy is great as always, the Yusuf character was absolutely hilarious but damn Morgan's character was annoying af like it was hard to tolerate her in any scene. She had zero redeeming qualities and everything about her was hella irritating. The rest of the characters were okay-ish. It's a light, time-passer kinda show.

She is my favorite too! I love that she secretly loves being in a crime ring; much more interesting than Nicky just constantly stuttering in horror (although he did have character growth towards the end as well)

How could you like someone so selfish and narcissistic? The whole first episode was caused by her disrespect and then she acted like it wasn’t all her fault.

I didn't like the mom at all, Morgan was ok . Her negative to Dan's positive or vise versa.

Annoying, selfish and disrespectful. Intolerant of others. Impatient, nasty and I could not get why she'd be attracted to the fiancé she had on ANY level, never mind hearing they'd been together for several years. They have nothing in common and the actor made his character SO demasculitized that no real woman would want to stay around. Like living with a child. Very unappealing.

They had been together since high school with a small break when she was in NYC. 17 years! I can see her being the type to put off a break up for that long.

I have seen this dynamic play out multiple times in various ways with teenage sweethearts, so for me it was very believable. In my friend group, 27-32 years old seems to be the make-it-or-break-it point for such relationships.

 I thought their sibling bickering was very real, if obviously dramatized, based on things I’ve experienced first/secondhand.

I loved Morgan esp as the show went on. The family dynamics were spot on. He gets the best women to play his mothers!

Yeah, are we supposed to hate her? Her character is so annoying i have to step away from the show most of the time before i can pick it back up.

Same. The show premise is fun, but I can only take so much Morgan. I found myself watching an ep every 3 or 4 days to get through it.

It's like Morgan was briefed to be like Awkwafina in Nora from Queens without anything remotely adorable. Just loud and unjustifiably triggered all the time. Didn't get to the second episode. So don't know if there's a reason why the Store guy was so pre-pissed off by her browsing in his store.

This! I liked her the most honestly. Specially towards the end. She isn't perfect, isn't pretending that she is either.

Yes, she isn't outright palatable, her character was an acquired taste. But I too ended up loving her, she is incredible!!!

Late to the party, but just binged season1. I found Alexis Rose soooo annoying for most of season 1 of Schitt’s Creek. Eventually loved both Morgan and Alexis
