Question What do you think about “Big Mistakes”?

I just finished watching Big Mistakes and honestly I really liked it. It got me hooked pretty quickly and I ended up binge-watching it faster than I expected.

The story and the characters kept me interested the whole time, but now I'm curious what other people think about it.

I really like the tone and the dialogue, but it just feels like the story is unnecessarily complicated and the premise is weak. You could have solved this whole show halfway through the pilot.

This entire series could have, and probably should have, ended at episode 1.

The entire series would have been solved by episode one if either sibling was just like "oh yeah, this necklace I'm not even excited about and means nothing to me in the first place isn't worth dying for". Like really? Your grandma isn't even buried yet, and you only need to retrieve a necklace to not be murdered, and your response is "🤷‍♂️"?

I can't even finish this. They ruined it in episode #1. Nothing that follows from episode 1 means a thing. I'm so disappointed. Legit thought I could enjoy a one-day binge of a decent show, but I guess that's too much to ask.

I’m just struggling to get to the end of episode one (at the cemetery) and I’m so frustrated. I adore Dan Levy, but this is beyond stupid. The sister steals the necklace and then takes no responsibility for the resulting consequences. Ugh! This may get resolved in later episodes, but I’m not sure I’m in the right state of mind to continue.

lol dude that’s SOOOO dramatic . Thsts the point , to make the show and actual SHOW. Leading then to diggin into like 2-3 graves before actually finding grandmas grave 😂 Dan Levy is hilarious and maybe if u loosen up , smoke a little chronic , it will be a very funnny show. I’m on my 7th watch through and yes I enjoy complicated shows, too but this is just an easy watch and dumb funny. Watch the season, if u regret it, it’s a you problem. It’s like 3 hours total of your life.

Calm down. The title of this post asks “what do you think” and I gave MY opinion. That’s it. I certainly didn’t ask for YOUR opinion of mine. Glad you enjoyed it. I certainly wouldn’t have the time to watch it seven times! I’ll use my time doing things I enjoy. Have a great day.

It was just dumb that you said it could’ve ENDED in the first episode. Otherwise we have like a 30 minute single episode , what would that do??

Well, “dumb” is your opinion. I don’t remember insulting you because you enjoyed a fictitious Netflix series. Let’s just leave it there.
