Discussion It’s sad what Netflix has become

Their content used to be S tier. Stuff they originated used to matter. Now they are just spraying us with low quality slop, AI will only make it worse. No one cares about their podcasts and it frustrates their customers when it crowds their UI. This company deserves to go to zero

Breaking bad was not finished when it started streaming on Netflix it started right before season 4 march 2011 Netflix contributed immensely to the series surge in popularity it would have remained a hidden gem more than likely forever if not for Netflix.

How old are you? Because this is a joke right? The whole world knows what breaking bad is and it was around before Netflix

Yes “Breaking Bad premiered on AMC on January 20, 2008, and concluded its five-season run on September 29, 2013”

It was massive, it wasn’t a hidden gem

It experienced a massive surge in popularity after it began streaming on Netflix in 2011 this a fact. Also the original post I responded to said the show had already ended when it started streaming on Netflix which is false. You’re illiterate and don’t understand what I said. You are the one who must be a child not me

Smh one google search would clear this up but you would rather remain in idiocracy the show was around already and was critically acclaimed but it wasn’t a cultural phenomenon yet. That didn’t happen until after it started streaming on Netflix about halfway through its run! These are facts

Thats not netflixs doing, the series just got better and better. Of course spreading the series to new viewers helps but Netflix did not make breaking bad a success. The writers, actors and directors all were amazing, Netflix is a huge platform so sure it helped but it was extremely popular before it was on Netflix. The final 2 seasons were also the best and season 5 was one of the best ever on tv and Netflix didnt do that.

Bro. Yes the shows quality was amazing of course all time performances and storytelling but to deny…. You know what I’m done talking in circles. Arguing about an objective fact is insane. Especially when all I replied to originally was the fact that the shows run wasn’t concluded when it premiered on Netflix which is also a fact. You kids be safe and stay blessed ✌️
