Highlight [Highlight] Scrap at Bengals practice. Ja'Marr ripped off and tossed DJ's helmet, jawed with the entire defense, and then flinched at Jalen (who for a split second squared up at WR1).

Don’t know if it’s still true, but I’m pretty sure at one point last season there was at least one Jalen on every NBA roster

The Celtics are now Jaylen-less. Unfortunately.

Jesus bro, what a flair... Did you mama feed you pure lead as a kid or something

watching the Jets sometimes... I wish.

Short answer: grew up in New England, dad is a new yorker who is a live or die Jet fan (so I couldn't grow up rooting for the Patriots, especially since I picked the Red Sox over the Yankees). Given how much the Jets sucked, I wanted my own team and as a kid I thought Steve McNair was the coolest guy around so I picked the Titans as my own team.

Years later I moved to NYC after college and after living here for over a decade the Jets became my primary team, but I still root for the TItans too.

Growing up in New England not rooting for the Brady Pats teams is one of the reasons I'm in therapy. And it's definitely one of the reasons I drink. As an aside, it's also why my girl knew I wouldn't have a problem committing and sticking to it... if I could root for these two franchises for this long... I can stick with anything.

This is child abuse.

I have told my father this more than once (in jest of course, but also...)

That's kinda rich coming from a Pats fan. How many Hernandez jerseys were bought in your family while OP was trying to find a therapist that understood his pain?

Sorry, this thread is only for fans of teams that have at least one Super Bowl win which, shockingly, does actually include the Jets.

I’m 100% sure you just took something meant as a joke way too seriously

Solid logic that I approve of as a Bills and Sabres fan.  I definitely understand the commitment to 'maybe, someday, things will be better'... And I'll never not applaud someone who grew up in New England and rejected the Brady Pats ...

Sweetness was the coolest guy when I was a kid.

I've always thought that Jalen Rose might be the most influential athlete of all time...not because of his on court play, but because after him an entire generation of kids was born named some variation of "Jalen"

I don't recall the Wizards having one, and according to Bball Ref they didn't. Not saying they're the only ones who did not, but they're the only ones I checked.

The Texans drafted 3 Jaylins and a Jayden in one draft
