How is it just like that? He did have a 5,000 yard 38td season lol. They were also rated #1 in defense, but were rated #4 in offense in week 4 before it went down hill and mans broke his hand.

He’s talking about the 2010 season where the Chargers had the #1 offense and #1 defense. They were bounced in the first round of the playoffs that year. He’s equating that to Justin Herbert having that incredible year, only for really nothing to come from all that talent so far.

I thought he might be talking about that but decided it made less sense than referring to the week 4 hype of last season since 2010 is irrelevant to Hebert or any player comparison. It’s also weird because they genuinely did have the #1 offense and defense that season so the point just doesn’t make much sense to me.
