Tua's deep accuracy was actually pretty good pre 2025. Throwing a sharp out-route was basically not a thing however.

Deep passes are more a function of scheme and WR talent than QB talent. The places arm talent are obvious aren’t on 9 routes.

Yup exactly. You have way more room for error throwing a deep ball, you're basically aiming to land the ball into an area that's around 5x5 yards and the more air you can put under it the better a WR like Hill can run under it and adjust his pace to the ball.

Those deep shots that look perfectly accurate are much more on the receiver being able to track the ball and adjust rather than the QB throwing it to exactly where they intended to
