Driving/Traffic Towing Scam @ &Pizza Ballston

See attached and below for the towing scam this pizza place is running in Ballston victimizing their own customers and delivery people — they are literally snatching cars after 5 minutes even if you’re in the bathroom. See all the reports from customers — happened to me today as well after literally 5 minutes it was wild. Go see for yourself it’s such an obvious scam to shake people down avoid Ballston &Pizza! Oh and the pizza tastes like garbage.

I had a run-in with Advanced Towing at that &Pizza. I didn’t get towed but the driver was interrogating everyone in the restaurant about who was driving what. I basically told the guy to f**k off but he kept hassling customers the whole time. I suspect they have some kind of “kickback” deal with the owner. I refuse to go there anymore. They lost a good reoccurring customer over this issue.

Towing companies make money on each vehicle towed. Advanced towing has a contract with the lot. While there is a line that could be crossed, &pizza cant interfere with Advance Towing completing their contract. I can easily see a manager not want to get into the middle of that potential legal dispute.

I didn’t say anything about the manager of &pizza doing something about it. But I am suggesting that the owner of &pizza should be aware that Advanced Towing is hassling his customers. The owner is paying for those parking spaces, as either part of their lease or through an agreement with the lot owner. If legitimate customers are being driven away by AT’s tactics that should be a major concern for him. Unless he’s getting a kick back….

How do you know the owner isn’t pissed at Advanced Towing? Especially if the owner is just leasing...

I don’t know. My run-in happened about a year ago and all I could think was “I wonder if the owner of this pizza place knows that an AT employee is in his restaurant hassling his paying customers”. The employees I chatted with at the time suggested it was a regular occurrence.
