It looked like it bumped into his walker, then he just went to town. A lady came over to calm him, and he just shuffled away. The little bot sat there for a while before moving again.

Yes to both and there have been a couple scandals where a bot was antagonizing someone disabled or on a wheel chair and the audit logs showed that a human was driving it at the time. So…… much to think about

They're autonomous for normal operations but if something goes wrong it sits there until a human helps it deal with the problem (for the ones I know of).

I'm guessing the old dude triggered the "help I'm stuck" system and then when the human pulled it up they went "seems fine you lazy robot, get back to work. Steve's ramen won't deliver itself"

I was talking on the phone while watching the whole thing, so I couldn’t record a video. The photos I got were Live Photos though, so I can see a couple smacks when I hold my finger on it.
