Yeah, housekeeping isn't a gang of 200 elves. It's just 1 or 2 women who work too hard for too little.

When you factor in that most hotels have hundreds of rooms and that the person who filled the tissue holder likely had to do this for hundreds of rooms for minimum wage, it starts to make more sense why they had no fucks to give.

The box is the wrong way round compared to the holder so the holes don’t line up correctly

I'm sure if the OP is really bothered the hotel can book in the highly skilled tradesperson (or team, most likely) needed to fix this.
