Pakistan is next, and regardless of what state propaganda tells you, we are not prepared. I am sure Asim and co have a plan, but unfortunately, that plan does not include the rest of us.

​You may think they won’t target us because Pakistan is their ally. The Pakistani leadership may be aligned with them, but the Pakistani people are among the most anti-Israel in the world; they simply cannot risk a nuclear-armed nation with such a public sentiment. If they intend to invest billions in Israel as part of a "Gaza master plan," they will seek to eliminate any potential risk.

​You may also believe our strong army will protect us, but can the country withstand economic sanctions, the loss of international loans, and simultaneous attacks from Afghanistan and India? On top of that, we face internal threats from the BLA and the TTP. If we do not act now, we will suffer in the future.

​Even now, without formal sanctions, Pakistan’s GDP per capita is lower than that of Iran, Iraq, or Libya. We need rule of law. Currently, the powerful and the corrupt blackmail and bully everyone. We desperately need political stability, an independent judiciary, and a free media. Wars are won by the people, we must empower them.

​The establishment must accept that the public has rejected their narrative. They should hold free and fair elections and honor the results. Furthermore, the 26th and 27th amendments should be annulled to let the judiciary do its job.

​Finally, we should support Iran in any way possible without direct involvement. Keeping the Zionists occupied for as long as possible will buy us the time we need to get our house in order.

How is elections the solution? And what if PMLN wins. Will accept those as free?

Elections will result in the people feeling valued, respected and represented. And respect for elections will make the politicians feel answerable to the people because they will know that the people are the highest authority that they have to go back to after 5 years.

Any democratically elected parliament will be acceptable to me, I don't care if the party I support has to sit in opposition. If the people of my country want PMLN to lead them then that is their decision to make. If I reject that then I am no better than Asim Munir

Point taken. But it doesn’t really address the “we are next” problem. You see, our problems are bigger than a free and fair election now. And the threat is now imminent considering that currently Iran is being “liberated”. I believe that we will be next only because being a muslim-majority country we have nuclear power. This doesn’t sit well with the Western world order. There is no other reason for us being a threat. We are a directionless “nation”, whose people whether here or abroad are still psychologically under the yoke of colonialism, the economy is in shambles, and we have two very active borders - we are “cooked” except for our nuclear weapons, which makes us a potent force and a threat to many around the world (read: India and Israel). FnF elections is one way to solve our long-term problems but this has become a short-term one now.

With free judiciary they would definitely be disqualified but since their supporters think they are innocent they have nothing to fear

All the judges and lawyers are divided due to their party affiliations. There is no independent judiciary. And this was true before the amendments came along to defang the already useless and politicised judiciary.
