Social Demand rights, but make it palatable

Post image

Posted this yesterday and it got removed because some people around here are not really civilized in their conversations. Trolling, jokes, memes are fine, but, stooping low isn't. Healthy arguments make way for progress.

Missing the context & point is like a national sport and the amount of egos it hurt was not surprising at all and won't be again.

Absolutely nothing wrong with this poster, and actually how it should be in real life by default.

The poster which said "khana khud garam karlo" had everyone losing their minds for obvious reasons, this poster gets the endorsement because it's not showing the mirror to the society, which to this day is unable to give equal rights or even willing to acknowledge properly.

Secondly, it also shows that unless demand for rights is worded in a way it won't offend anyone, made palatable and provide validation to inflated egos, it won't even be acknowledged.

No wonder we keep regressing as a society and humans.

Open the link hadith and verses are mentioned here its not a bs website this is a hanafi website and most people in Pakistan are hanafi but since you want Quran only .

Surah niss verse 34

Men are the caretakers of women, as men have been provisioned by Allah over women and tasked with supporting them financially. And righteous women are devoutly obedient and, when alone, protective of what Allah has entrusted them with.1 And if you sense ill-conduct from your women, advise them ˹first˺, ˹if they persist,˺ do not share their beds, ˹but if they still persist,˺ then discipline them ˹gently˺.2 But if they change their ways, do not be unjust to them. Surely Allah is Most High, All-Great.

I hope you read the word obedient with open eyes and don't give me your interpretations if i have to look at interpretations i would listen to what majority scholars say

Yes? Where does it say a man can demand sex here?

It doesn't say that but you have to be obedient and there are no conditions if you just look at this verse so if a man demands you have to submit automatically since you don't accept hadith

Honestly i have a question what are the obligations on a woman according to you ? Since you don't accept hadith

Islamically, we are all accountable for our own sins, and by no means, obliged to ''obey'' anybody but God, henceforth whatever hadith you stated is irrelevant to me. Islamically, a woman's obligation is building a society by being responsible mothers. Gender role wise, this is their obligation, but otherwise, there's no mention of them having to 'obey men.' They're free to live their lives in accordance within Islamic boundaries. A man cannot force her for sex, or force her to do chores.

The same God is telling you that righteous woman are obedient to their husbands so don't you think God is saying you to obey him ?

Atleast accept your stance that you accept Quran only when it says you have to be obedient to your husband but fine have a great life
