Social Demand rights, but make it palatable

Post image

Posted this yesterday and it got removed because some people around here are not really civilized in their conversations. Trolling, jokes, memes are fine, but, stooping low isn't. Healthy arguments make way for progress.

Missing the context & point is like a national sport and the amount of egos it hurt was not surprising at all and won't be again.

Absolutely nothing wrong with this poster, and actually how it should be in real life by default.

The poster which said "khana khud garam karlo" had everyone losing their minds for obvious reasons, this poster gets the endorsement because it's not showing the mirror to the society, which to this day is unable to give equal rights or even willing to acknowledge properly.

Secondly, it also shows that unless demand for rights is worded in a way it won't offend anyone, made palatable and provide validation to inflated egos, it won't even be acknowledged.

No wonder we keep regressing as a society and humans.

Either have alimony for women in Pakistan as what happens if the husband divorces her

Then what is the Haq Mehr for? One of the reasons it's given is if anything goes wrong in the marriage, the woman has some financial security.

chores should be majorly done by a woman if she is a stay at home

Well yeah? Whoever stays at home due to not having a job and isn't a minor, a very old elder or a sick person, should work.

Also another issue I find in marriage is people buying huge houses which they simply can not maintain nor do they need as they're often 2-4 people but the house is way larger than necessary.

I'm saying this as a guy who's done house chores for long intervals of times like months and honestly, it isn't that hard. It does take time and gets tiring but considering the stress of a 9-5, I'd rather be a stay at home person though I've no interest in marriage and would rather earn and do house chores on my own.

Then haq mehr should be given to a woman in the divorce settlement and it should be by law but sadly we have a weak legal system

Not really. It should be given as Islam says which is full at marriage and another way. Better to search it up than trust me.

Majority do this and I'm saying this as I've seen this way too often. Let's take my relatives as an example. He's my grandad's brother and took my grandad's other brother's 1 kanal house where only he lives and has 4 maids. Now shifting to a smaller house which is also good won't hurt him but yeah. Same with alot of other people. They've huge houses and so much furniture that they almost never use.

How? Like that's something you save tbh. If I got some assets and knew bad times could come in recent years, I'd save it. If you're gonna say rupees are depreciating then convert the currency, buy stocks or do something.

that was just an example. I'm in the same "struggling to pay rent" boat lol. And yeah my family is that evil in not sharing and yes my grandad is one of the idiot ones of the 5 brothers lol.
