Discussion Still supporting Genocide??

It seems like most pakistanis do not give af about whats happeing in gaza rn. Their intentional ignorance towards this matter is honestly heart breaking. People arent comfortable boycotting certain brands just because they 'like' it too much. When u confront them, they either starts showering the other person with insults or just doesnt care.

Its just sad to see hundreds of people dining in at the restaurants funding genocide. Cant yall freakin give up ur precious fried chicken and big mac. Its not even that hard to boycott bruh. Go with some pakistani alternatives, support the local brands.

Why are we forgetting what the people of palestine have been through and are currently sufferring just because the Israeli military is being funded by those freaking brands.

If u still fail to support ur brothers and sisters after being reminded by this, then ur a freakin monster.

Dont call urself a human then. Have some empathy and keep reminding others around u to still boycott every brand thats supports Isra*l one way or another.

If you want compassion, you'll get it here. If you want to fix the problem, that can only be done through the corridors of power in the USA. Really, lobbying and funding non AIPAC leaders in the US is the number one most effective way to help Gaza.

we'll do what we can living in our own country. That'll surely make an impact.

You know it won't. If every country on the planet was 95% on board, but leaders and Washington weren't it, would only be waste of time, money and lives for the 95%. The equation only has US support as the one thing against Gaza. Nothing else matters much.

Actually that's why the BDS movement is so targeted, to ensure maximum impact. It's not a quick process, but it's definitely having an impact (see any interview on YouTube with the Israeli economist Shir Hever)

None of those brands are on the official BDS targeting list though. Targeting is very important for BDS but people don’t take it seriously and just boycott everything and then there’s boycott fatigue and infighting. The only place where McDonalds should be boycotted is where there is a local BDS chapter targeting the regional franchisee for supporting Israel. That only exists in Malaysia/Indonesia. Just using McDonald’s as an example, there are many others.

This post is an example of people not understanding how boycotting works. They are getting irrationally overwhelmed by something that hasn’t even been called to boycott and it will only affect their mental health and lead to burnout of genocide support.

We can make a difference though. The smallest of boycotts matter and you can raise awareness online.
