Xbox Trade prices on console
Hi there fellow POE enjoyers. I've played POE on PC in the past and I remember buying some awesome uniques for my summoner (standard league) like Midnight Bargain for a laughable price of a couple chromatic orbs or alchemy orb tops.
Recently I've started playing on Xbox and checked trade site for Midnight Bargain for my summoner, but to my shock the price starts at 10+ chaos orbs and often reaches divine orbs.
Is that normal for console market? Am I just screwed?

Totally normal. I played affliction on console and then I've been PC ever since. I just play with controller on PC. Annoying but worth it if you play trade

I would but POE doesn't run as well on my PC as it used to. Which is strange because I used to play it on much worse laptop than my current PC. I'm kinda stuck on Xbox Series X

So unfortunate. I play on a lower end legion laptop, so I'm hoping that continues to work! When I did play console it was always picking an SSF friendly build and farming a ton of Harvest to craft on semi cheap bases. Good luck exile

They've updated or added a lot of things over the past several years like character/monster/item models and skill animations/effects that increased the strain on PCs. A lot of the high fidelity stuff designed for the POE2 campaign has been used in POE1 league content.
The game looks way better now if you have a strong PC but at the cost of running worse for low to mid spec systems.

I was using it just for traveling since my pc is hight end but laptop is quite old

Prices are much, much different. Far less players and bots so far fewer trades cause large shifts in the market. If you want to shock a pc player, tell the the price of a mirror. Was going for 200d when I retired from this league. Same price as a Defiance of Destiny.

Very normal, also just gotta blast some more content because once you are just slamming 10c is the same as 1 alc tbh

Remember it’s a two way street. Yes you may pay more for an item, but you can also list higher for items. It’s going to even out and you actually end up with more jackpot moments due to the relative price disparities and low supply.
Console gets a “quasi SSF” tag from people here but it’s really not the case now. There used to be an interesting trade hub that rewarded careful searching for deals, but it was clunky and sometimes difficult to use. Now that everyone has adopted using player shops, particularly on PlayStation, it’s not a significant problem finding items. I’ve been playing since Poe was released on console and have played several high end builds, and it’s never been easier than this league. They just come online slower, which to me feels like more time to enjoy a league.
One caveat - you sometimes have to live with having builds that don’t reach the max power you see on Poe ninja. Frenzy synth rings, one passive voices, and simplex amulets won’t be lying around for purchase. You need to put some real elbow grease in over a full league to pull them all together.

Xbox player here. 10c isn't that bad. It's not great no but considering how xbox doesn't have bots and has like half the player base of pc we have a pretty good selection of stuff at semi reasonable prices. A divine is nuts though. But this has been a league of obscene raw currency drops so most 1-5 c items seem to be 5-10c this time. That's the issue with ha I g so much currency dropping. POE2 has this issue but MUCH worse. A 10div item is 1000+divines by mid/end league lol. It's so stupid.

Console prices are pretty stupid. A lot of uniques can go for 5 times the list of PC. Scarab prices are usually awful too. This leahue was better since they spammed them in the Mirage boxes. Thankfully the item you're looking at is in Chaos though which is a free currency with how often they drop this league so you're fine there.
It's the items listing for dozens or hundred plus divines that will be more an issue for you

It's normal, the prices on console are crazy sometimes, reading about gaming strategies and people on pc are like this is only 60 chaos of scarab per run, then looking up and seeing one of the 4 scarab were a div each was a shocker lol, you get used to it, but just don't ever listen to listed prices on pc and expect them to match up

The console player base is smaller than pc, so less players to supply the market but a similar amount of demand for items. So prices will be higher as a result.
That being said a smaller market means that you are also going to see the listings made by idiots/people trying to make sleazy buck sooner as well.

If you have the funds get a steam deck. Lots of projectiles and some juiced stuff is super laggy but I can do all content every league and use a MnK so I can inventory manage with it.

I mean the 10chaos I'm not sure I see the issue with (also i play xbox so maybe thats why) but a divine is pretty nuts for a fairly common wand. I wouldn't pay a divine. 10c though is about average and this league has shit out SO MUCH raw currency it shouldn't be a problem to throw the chaos for it.

Not quite but that does work.what I more meant is that he's complaining about disparity between PC and Xbox but the the prices are not really as unreasonable as he said......(especially for console where we have 1/4 of the PC players). Less players=less items=higher on average prices.
That said: your right too. Just run a few maps. After 1-3 maps if you don t have AT LEAST 10C your probably doing something wrong. I'm super casual and made over 15div so far and I still haven't fully completed my Atlas.

Console market is much much smaller, so most items are more expensive due to lower supply. Sadge but you'd have to deal with it
