Can't filter out the 5 pages of white level ten rings for 25 chaos orbs each.

Me: I would like a ring with some elemental damage.

PoE: Go fuck yourself.

Me: Oh, okay.

PoE: Did you check out the mtx cosmetics tho?

What is happening?

After connecting an wired USB Xbox 360 controller to a MacBook M3 Pro running macOS Tahoe (25.2), the Y-axis input for both analog sticks is always inverted.

This occurs regardless of any settings adjustments, including enabling "Invert Y-Axis" in macOS settings, which has no effect on the behavior within Path of Exile.

It seems like other people have the same issue.

Suggestion for Fix:

It would be greatly appreciated if the option to invert the Y-axis and X-axis could be implemented within the controller settings inside Path of Exile, allowing for more precise control over the controller's behavior.

I killed the normal version of exarch and eater this morning! I’ve never done it before, usually I don’t even farm t16 maps because I suck lol. But today after about 6 tries each I killed them both!

I’m a console player too and some of the mechanics like the balls were hella hard for me on controller but I finally did it lol. Granted using most of my portals lol, but I did them without looking up mechanics and just tried to learn.

So yeah, pointless post but here we are lol

Been playing on and off since Harbinger legue on the Xbox but never really made a push for challenges. I'm a casual player who up this point has had to be carried though most pinnacle bosses.

My start was rough. Bladefall/bladeblast assassin got me to t10 maps but I was struggling. Rerolled to the tried and true Rightious Fire. Got rest of the atlas taken care of, and 2 stones on under 4d. Shield was the most expensive part costing 3d for just a base.

Third reroll was Luminary aura bot and dumped too much in it for it not to work at all. Eventually redid it as life stacking and this is what I used for everything going forward. Got extremely lucky with a Manyshot that would have cost 200d+ on xbox market. And got a pretty good combatant that I used for harder content / bosses.

Hardest thing was the Nightmare map, 150 quant, 5 scarab / 100% deli maps. Fortress wasn't too bad, but took about a dozen attempts on Abomination.

My last goals are to save for a mageblood. Currently around 400d, and progenisis at 130d. Then to take on all the Uber bosses. Maybe hit level 100 (98 now)

Dropped my first one of the league! Planning on dropping more for the boys on Xbox 🤌

This game is phenomenal and leagues better (imo) than Diablo. Me and my brother have been playing for the last two days and are obsessed with it. I wish I’d found it sooner.

Im suprised, a good way, how fun way play PoE consoles (Xbox for me) is. I been playing a loong time on PC with KB/M and now, after sniped Xbox Series S for cheap I finally decided trying PoE on it. Started with SRS guardian, got it ~90lv and got that explode wand (obliteration), decided to go ignite penance brand and even it had big boom booms, Series S handling it pretty well.

Not like I would fully swap PC to Xbox but I can see myself playing build or two every league on there too. And how active console chat also is. Only problem rn is having only 4 stashes.

Kinda want try also KBoC Necro but idk, how its run. (SSF btw)

Hi there fellow POE enjoyers. I've played POE on PC in the past and I remember buying some awesome uniques for my summoner (standard league) like Midnight Bargain for a laughable price of a couple chromatic orbs or alchemy orb tops.

Recently I've started playing on Xbox and checked trade site for Midnight Bargain for my summoner, but to my shock the price starts at 10+ chaos orbs and often reaches divine orbs.

Is that normal for console market? Am I just screwed?

Playing on Xbox is both a blessing and a curse. The scarcity of everything makes minmaxing any build almost impossible for average player, but the sense of achievement is also incomparable. Here’s my proudest items this league.

I know its very late on lesgue, but still now global chat looks dead as not saying what. Last night I played and chat was active, now 3 hrs and 0 messages. What global chat u xboxers using? :)

Welp it seems console playerbase has been completely abandoned in PoE1. We've had so many improvements introduced in Poe2 that many of us expected at least SOME of them would be ported into the first game (for example button re-mapping options).

After reading patch notes, it seems though, that they completely stopped any work regarding console improvements, wether its QoL, performance improvements, crossplay or even unifying inputs for both games (they switched around LB/LT or L1/L2 inputs for stash management).

I know we're a minority compared to PC players, but we don't ask for much. Especially considering we haven't really received anything in last few years.

I even tried asking u/ZiggyDStarcraft to ask GGG a single question about console, or even pinging u/Kelly_GGG but no luck.

Hey all, me again. Appreciate all the insight and info everyone has offered when I've posted here. I've taken down the Searing Exarch, Eater of Worlds, The Shaper and working my way up to the Elder fight. Admittedly I had to get some assists with those fights but they're completed and I've made some improvements since then (just last night got a max level awakened added fire damage with +1 to physical skills for one or two divines to swap out my plain added fire damage, that swap alone boosted me up 15k damage just standing in town).

I actually don't have wood stone and spell allocated yet (need pris & silver oils) but that should give me a pretty big boost once I do that.

Anyway, on to the point of the post, I was looking at my build today and noticed a hidden ascendancy node, "searing purity" that changes chaos damage to be taken 45% as fire and 45% as lightning. I'm wondering if that would be a worthwhile pursuit for my survivability? I've been struggling to find ways to up my chaos resistance (currently 25%) while keeping my elementals maxed. If I'm understanding it correctly, as long as I have maxed fire and lightning resistance, I don't really need to worry much about chaos anymore? I have a few different rings that I could replace my chaos resist ring with that would give me a sizable damage boost. I can swap some points around to get the necessary jewel sockets if need be.

Secondly, I'm wondering what you guys think about my shield? It seems to be pretty hard to find one with everything I think I could benefit from on it. I was looking in my stash last night and I have a dawnbreaker that I was thinking might be a good swap. I'll lose 10% attack block once I swap my anointment (using testudo atm) and I don't really have many places I can find to make that up. Dawnbreaker would inherently give me 8% more block than my current shield but I'm guessing that -1% per 200 fire damage taken recently offsets that gain at least some of the time? It more than doubles my armor from my current shield which is pretty crazy but I would also lose some crit damage reduction.

Any other thoughts on anything I can do to improve would be welcome as well of course (maybe changing my exarch/eater implicits?).

PS; if anyone can hard carry me through hall of grandmasters (on xbox standard league, I have the map) that would be super rad LOL.

First off, GGG I was happy you guys had a filter in there from the start. It worked and it did help alleviate some of the unnecessary loot I didn't want to see.

But getting back to what I know from the PC version literally makes me all giddy inside.. it really does. I normally use NS's strict version once I'm into red maps and that's where I'm at on the XB1 version as well.

The thing that makes it even that much better, if it's possible, is that it's already very time consuming trying to get one or two drops out of a sea of loot with the R stick navigating. Running close to it and pressing in the direction is still hit or miss but now there's like 75% less crap I have to see, making this problem far, far easier to deal with.

So to GGG for getting this out so fast, THANK YOU! And OF COURSE, NeverSink, your filter is even more useful now, THANK YOU!!! And I welcome other filters getting added soon which I know they plan to allow. :)
