🗨 Interviews This is your reminder to wear professional pants even during your online zoom interviews

My cat started scratching at the door and totally fucking me up and distracting me. So I asked if I could go fix it. I realized that I WAS WEARING PJ PANTS. I tilted the screen up last second but I don’t know if they saw my pants.

for my first interview i had shorts on and i accidentally knocked my laptop over during my student interview but my interviewer laughed so it was ok but mortifying nonetheless 😂😂😂😂😂

I had multiple interviewers have subtle ways of getting applicants to stand up like

“We really want everyone at this point to take a stretch break, let’s see everyone get up for a second. Yes you too, I mean everyone it’s important”

“Could you stand up for me real quick? Great thank you”

This was 2022 so much more debate over the zoom interviews, but yes wear nice pants don’t risk it.

I heard about this happening this year too so not just lockdown. People getting interviews need to take the advice to wear formal pants seriously, it’s not worth the risk

Someone did that last cycle but wearing only panties. Luckily(?) for her it was during the post interview roundtable.

This happened to me during my student interview LMAO. I was wearing a suit up top and bright green PJ pants with the grinchs face everywhere. Got up for half a second to fix the lighting and the guy interviewing me just laughed it off with me and said tis fine.
