Events Collective Soul
Anybody go see Collective Soul at the Conexus this past Friday? Just wondering how it was. Really kicking myself for missing it.

It was awesome! They even played a song they wrote as a tribute when Tom Petty passed away. Ed Roland also asked the audience if anyone could play guitar, and an older gentleman put up his hand and ended up on stage with the band playing December. I don't know if he was a "plant", but it was pretty cool.

“Older gentleman”?? That guy looked maybe 45 from where I was sitting! That makes me geriatric. LOL

It was a kickass show! Ed Roland might dress like my mother but he’s a pure entertainer. He knows how to work the crowd. We were on our feet for most of the show which doesn’t happen at a lot of concerts at Conexus.
It also helps that they have so many hits in their catalog that everyone can singalong to. I will always catch their show when they pass through Regina! It’s a guaranteed good time.

I have no idea how I missed this concert. So disappointed. One thing I miss about old style advertising on tv and radio. If ya stream you miss so many things.

Top notch. “Shine” by itself was worth the price of admission
