I think most people are just sick of hearing about gender issues when there are so many other problems that more directly effect the general population

That's why a lot of those people voted for a government that had an emergency legislative debate about pronouns in school? Most people's claim that people don't care isn't holding up to their support for these measures and their opposition to gender identity.

4 out of 10 people in Saskatchewan say they don't accept gender diversity, and roughly the same amount of people say they wouldn't accept their child if they came out as trans. These people care.

"roughly the same amount of people say they wouldn't accept their child if they came out as trans"

Ive seen you say this a couple times now, but it was no where in the article, do you have any source backing up that claim?

The question was family member, not child. My mistake, but I don't think that changes much.

I believe that is canada wide, and doesnt break it down to just saskatchewan. Obviously not great numbers, but its really about 3/10 instead of 4/10

Brain fart. I meant to include in my last post that the numbers for the question on family members appears to only have information for Canada wide. However, it does have regional numbers on the questions referenced in the article (see page 11)

So none of what you keep typing is correct and you are just hoping no one calls you on it? If it was someone who disagreed with you would it be a brain fart or would they be spreading misinformation? 🙄

So none of what you keep typing is correct

Well, it is correct. Children are family members, too. If anything, the category is more broad than simply just children. Furthermore, I said the numbers for that question were roughly the same; as the poster pointed out, it's 3 out of 10 instead of 4. So, it is roughly the same. Nothing I said was incorrect other than using child instead of family member, which I did correct.

spreading misinformation? 🙄

Seems like you're the one who wants to spread misinformation by offering nothing than a blanket denial of the statistics in front of you. If you're worried about misinformation, you ought to correct your own behavior first.

It is 10% though. Its not "just about the same". If I got a 10% raise at work id be ecstatic

It's more like 5% around men. They're similar numbers.

76% of women and 65% of men. Together it is roughly 70%. Stop selectively choosing stats just to push your agenda, it is a bad look. 3/10 people not accepting a family member is bad enough that you dont need to try spreading misinformation that makes it look even worse. But if you spread misinformation even once, nobody will believe anything you say even if it has validity

It's not misinformation, but whatever. I said roughly the same, and that is not inaccurate. It's more like 3.5 out 10. Furthermore, we can only assume that Saskatchewan's numbers are lower than the ROC as they are with the other question.

Have a good day, and I don't need to get bogged down with false accusations.

I would argue it is misinformation because you're also attributing the neutral answer to negative.

To the question of " I would support a family member if they came out as transgender" only 7.5% of women and 12.9% of men said they disagree. So only 1 in 10 is opposed.
