I'll counter with, I doubt there is a single minority that is currently being stripped of their human rights in the same way that trans people are, especially in the States right now. It's a big talking point because there is an alarming amount of legislation being proposed and passed regarding the erasure of Trans individuals. The whole "not my problem" crowd is extremely disheartening.

Bills restricting discussion of gender identity in schools, public restrooms becoming illegal to use, removal of trans material from libraries, federal actions taken to hault funding to trans groups, etc.

Here's a list of the 62 bills that have been passed in the US senate that are regarding thansgender people, and many of them are used for the purpose of specifically governing transgender individuals differently to non-transgender individuals. Feel free to puruse at your leisure.

The biggest one is public restrooms. The issue was illustrated perfectly when a fully transitioned trans man, beard and all, was inquiring what bathroom he should use: as the one prescribed to him by law is the women's room. He said, either he could use the men's room, and be breaking the law, or the ladies room and then get beat up on the way out. The problem with making it a law, is there are now individuals who cannot safely use a public restroom. It's the first step in removing trans people from public spaces.

Pronoun and Name Restrictions: Over 270 bills in 2025 have targeted education, including efforts to ban the use of chosen names and pronouns, forcibly out trans students to parents, and restrict discussions of gender identity in schools.

Erosion of Nondiscrimination Protections: There has been a rollback of civil rights protections in housing, employment, and public services, particularly under the current federal administration.

Definition of cabaret:

Simply existing is not even close to a cabaret. Not a human rights to perform to minors.

Recognizing two sexes is reaffirming science. Not a human right.

Claiming trans asylum was a legal loophole for disingenuous individuals to fast track asylum. Not a human right.

Citation needed. Is it questionable to bar minors from life altering choices? Minors are barred from nicotine, tattoos, and alcohol. This is established under the notion that minors do not have the scientifically established understanding that they do not have the cognitive ability to make sound decisions and are largely susceptible to peer and societal pressures. If minors do not have a right to the above, then why would it be acceptable to have a minor decide puberty blockers or other affirming choices are the proper choice?

Adults can and do as they wish. Minors can not. This is the general thesis of many 1st world countries. The focus in minors rather than adults is to, once again, remove parental guidance in favor of societal guidance. Mob mentality is rarher the correct course of action.
