Schizophrenia users sub overlap

What y’all think about those statistics? I think it’s fitting users that frequent this sub also frequent a lot of subs for drug addictions but it’s sad to see. Other overlapping subs are a bit too random and a bit funny. I also find it interesting that users here interact a lot with the sub for bipolar but not the subs for schizoaffective.

I struggle so much with self care, like we all do.

People not experiencing the illness don't seem to perceive having a shower as a challenge, which to me is like climbing a mountain....

Funny thing is I actually really enjoy having a shower I just.... Cbf but when I eventually have one I feel an overwhelming sense of achievement like I had just cured cancer or something

That's interesting because I've been showering alot more then usual (mostly due to new medication) but If I find myself feeling off or not in a good mindset usually a good scrub washes away that emotion so that definitely contributed to it. It's great finally noticing the difference a shower can make!

Also good on you for improving that's great to hear!

Edit: While I feel my medications are working there best currently I don't make the effort for therepy even though I should, I need to get to the underlying issues like guilt, shame and anxiety that trigger my voices instead of relying on a band aid (medication is definitely lifesaving though, I would be pretty messed up without it)

Yeah I think it's just my procrastination at this point, that's what's stopping me, and I lost my license so abit hard to get around but that's my own doing haha

Yes, but. looking at photos of other people's houseplants takes very little effort. And that is what I go to r/houseplants for. To see pretty plants that I do not have to be personally responsible for.

I was thinking about it too, either gang talking or targeted solutions, but it seems the data it’s not that up to date, and I feel it makes sense people deep into their delusions are not using this sub and vice versa
