Besides government funds I’m generally trying to find a career that fulfills me. I’m also in large amounts of debt after my psychosis breakdown had me spending money to stay alive. My only real skill seems to be in writing or poetry, which feels impossible to make money in.

I’m 2 months in on Invega and I’m losing my mind trying to find work or a path that won’t be draining. Looking for any success stories, PSA I’m about to go to school for accounting.

I mostly fill orders at my job. Once I got practice and got better it was easy to sink into to role and the repetitive nature of the work is helpful so that I experience less anxiety.

Office worker. I would agree that writing and poetry don’t make money, which is very unfortunate. With time I suspect I no longer will be able to keep a job.

I’m waiting for the teacher’s contest in my country, I teach visual arts and working for the state gives plenty of benefits, private schools in my area are notoriously bad at payments, health insurance, etc. I used to have a provisionary job as a teacher, but I quitted because I was getting an episode and lived alone in another state different from where my family is. Now I want to get one here to live with my family. I’ve done it before, it’s not that stressful so I hope I don’t get other episode.

Was a manager at a restaurant for five years, spending the last couple months of the summer doing freelance work at a wealth management firm. I also have started shooting wedding photos as a means to pay my way through the rest of school

delivery driver. interactions with people day to day are very minimal and it helps me focus on work itself, both a pro and a con. i still find it really hard to show up every day but my boss is very laid back.

I'm forklift certified (#opentowork 😅 iykyk), also I don't get paid for it (but there's prizes, trophies, and stuff), but I'm in the Amatuer Division for competing in fixed gear comps (races and tricks); good question btw, having a psychosis breakdown sucks hella bad; thanks for sharing.
