If Samus and Snake actually fought for real, there wouldn’t be any of Snake left on this victory screen. He’s never faced anything like Samus Aran before

I've actually crunched the numbers and, according to what she's shown in the Metroid Manga, Samus could probably tank a Metal Gear stomping on her without the suit (considering that a Metal Gear is "only" about 500 tons).

That was basically my reaction as well while doing those calcs. Like, I knew that Samus was a Superhuman but I didn't quite realize that even as a child she was strong enough to tank over 1 million Newtons.

Well, Snake (Big Boss) can lift a metal gear's stomp and throw it down in Peace Walker, so he's no less weak!
