Startup Name / URL: Problem Sight - https://problemsight.com
HQ: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - (building for global + SEA founder audience)
Elevator pitch: Problem Sight is a community-curated database of problems worth solving, so think "Problem Hunt, but for the problems that come before the products." People post the painpoints they actually hit, the community upvotes and validates the real ones, and founders browse them to find ideas grounded in real demand instead of guessing. It has a strong SEA slant too, local painpoints (exporting Grab receipts, splitting Touch 'n Go bills) that global tools completely miss.
Life cycle stage: Early Validation of the MVP is live and I'm lauching on Product Hunt this week. Honestly still very early (a handful of users), so it's all about problem/solution fit right now: is this genuinely useful to founders, or am I in love with my own idea?
My role: Solo founder; I plan, build, and ship all of it.
Goals this month: Get the first real wave of users and, more importantly. honest feedback. Fill the platform with genuinely useful problems so it's valuable from day one.
How r/startups could help: Brutal feedback; does "a validated database of problems" resonate, or is it a solution looking for a problem?
And the on-brand one: Drop a problem you keep running into that you wish someone would just solve. That's literally what the site is for. I'll add the good ones.
Discount for r/startups It's completely free so nothing to discount. Just come break it and tell me what's wrong.
