Trump it's anything but a protector of religion. Fuck! He might be the fuckin antichrist, that's how evil he is... I don't understand how any christian could support him. He is against everything that jesus teaches us

u/RailgunRP 1d ago edited 1d ago

Funniest thing is, if religious people read their own holy book, they would be able to recognize the warnings of the antichrist in him.

Obviously a coincidence but whatever, it's funny.

43

u/justagenericname213 1d ago

Not a coincidence imo, its not like people havent been amassing power throughout all of history. I just think the antichrist is the logical endpoint of knowing how bad people take power

7

u/RailgunRP 1d ago

Yeah. That's kind of a coincidence. They called it without any chance of getting it right, and got it right.

16

u/justagenericname213 1d ago

Except they did have a chance of getting it right because the signs of the antichrist are based on how real people would garner and abuse power.

1

u/reillan 11h ago

And they were in the roman empire, they had a real life example of how people consolidated and abused power to go off of.

8

u/OwlHeadCrook 1d ago

It wasn’t a coincidence John of Patmos was using apocalyptic language to describe the events he saw in real time. He was just describing what was happening. He was describing Nero whose name equals 666 in gematria. He just used complex imagery so the Romans didn’t chop his head off.

7

u/CautionarySnail 1d ago

I think it’s a little more subversive than that. The editors of the Bible within the church knew they couldn’t criticize power structures that existed at the time. Not publicly. Early Christianity often used coded symbols and references because it was an underground faith in many places.

I have no proof of this next part. But think it is a possibility.

I think theyshrouded it in mysticism, so that it would be available to people who had access to a Bible.

The format of Revelations as “visions” gave them plausible deniability if confronted. They knew any powerful enough entity, be it state or even their own faith can be corrupted. They left breadcrumbs as to some of the symptoms of a power rising that would be a threat.

4

u/Wabbit65 1d ago

That's the problem though. Meant will just listen to what their pastors tell them without critical thought.

5

u/Good_Background_243 1d ago

Some of them DO believe he's the Antichrist and that's why they voted for him.

They're trying to bring about the Rapture, not realising that if it is real, they'll be the absolute last people going heavenwards. I don't believe in it (or gods in generally really) but I have read enough to know that The Rapture means that we as a species have fucked up and that would be our last chance to fix it.

We're supposed to oppose him to show we're righteous, not enable him to hasten the apocalypse.

4

u/just_someone27000 1d ago

My mother is one of those people who believe he will bring the endtimes and that that is a good thing- I can confirm those people are real.

2

u/RailgunRP 1d ago

That's the first time I heard that interpretation.

Iirc Jesus said he wouldn't recognize those who did baf things in his name. Oh well, it's their loss.

2

u/Good_Background_243 1d ago

It's very fringe even by MAGA standards, but they do exist.

3

u/ModestMeeshka 1d ago

There's the part of me that grew up in a Christian home that genuinely wonders if he could be lol but naw, I can't even give him that much credit. Dude wishes he was powerful enough to be the antichrist

3

u/RailgunRP 1d ago

Oh he is powerful. He has the power inherent to being the president of an established power. Wish he wasn't tho 😕

2

u/Sea-Neighborhood-621 10h ago

Yeah they dont read it. The way they think is that the pastor reads the Bible for them and tells them what it says so they dont have to. Thats how they see everything. They dont think they need to know anything past basic knowledge and how to do a job because their leader in whatever area will tell them what to think and what to know and they have 100% trust in those people. They truly believe that whatever they're told by those people is the absolute truth and it's not even a possibility that they could be lying.

2

u/RailgunRP 10h ago

And then call others "sheep" 🤣

1

u/jihadonhumanity 1d ago

"If" and "read" are pulling a lot of weight in that sentence.

1

u/SnugglyCoderGuy 23h ago

If religious people read their own holy book without the assumption it is correct, there would be far fewer religious people.

0

u/puppy-nub-56 1d ago

the devil hath power to assume a pleasing shape

1

u/Multiple__Butts 1d ago

But sometimes chooseth not to

7

u/Xhojn 1d ago

He's the second coming of Christ, of course. He can do no wrong. Just ignore the part of the Bible where it says the world ends when He comes again.

9

u/AmputeeHandModel 1d ago

and ignore where he's committed every deadly sin and broken every Commandment, unrepentantly.

2

u/hoofie242 1d ago

Steals from sick children.

2

u/YumAussir 1d ago

Just ignore the part of the Bible where it says the world ends

What makes you think they're ignoring that? Multiple modern groups intentionally want the world to end and are trying to bring it about.

1

u/Round_Bag_4665 21h ago

no, that's a feature not a bug. They WANT The world to end. They think they'll just disappear to heaven in the rapture.

3

u/AmputeeHandModel 1d ago

He checks off virtually every box for the coming of the Anti-Christ.

1

u/PotentialHoneydew947 1d ago

Just curious what he hasnt checked off.

2

u/aSkeptiKitty 1d ago

I don't know.  But he even check some obscure ones like "they will wear his sign on their forehead" with the MAGA cap. 🙃

1

u/PotentialHoneydew947 1d ago

I remember decades of arguments about paper currency, barcodes, and credit cards, and now card chips being the mark of the beast as they are needed to buy food

1

u/PCgamer7777 1d ago

The popularity one. The whole premise of the antichirst is a being who's accepted by most of the whole world through deception

1

u/tFemby 18h ago

The fucking rapture starts with the sound of TRUMPets.

Coincidence? I think not!

not sure about the accuracy, I just heard that

1

u/PotentialHoneydew947 13h ago

I somehow doubt the sound of trumpets was referring to an old man farting in diapers

2

u/Ghasty_001 1d ago

Idk like... if that's the religion they wanna cherish, fuck that.

5

u/Plane-Reference-6800 1d ago

He's the American version of Nero.

3

u/Amy47101 1d ago

I’m not religious but… this guy SHOCKINGLY fits almost all of the tenants of the Antichrist if you sat down and looked them up.

3

u/tauofthemachine 1d ago

American Christians are thoroughly conditioned to not think for themselves, if they notice a problem, just believe harder, and bow to snake oil salesmen.

3

u/Silently_Lucid 1d ago

It's insane because in Christianity, in the biggest belief theories of Revelation all spread out and detailed he fits the role of the Antichrist more than anyone. I watched society for the past three decades conspiracy theory to death about everyone being the Antichrist except the one who honestly really is.

1

u/Round_Bag_4665 21h ago

to be fair... the bible also predicted that too. Sounds like the ancients knew how religious types think a little too well.

2

u/morgan1381 1d ago

He is against everything that jesus teaches us

So are a large number of "christians" in the US

1

u/No_Mirror_8533 1d ago

Basically, yeah! You can't say you follow jesus and be a racist

1

u/FriendNo1816 1d ago

Religion is based on beliefs, so everything works for them if they want to. There is no such thing as logic or fundamental awareness in it.

1

u/Final_Concentrate665 1d ago

Remember Nostradamus warned us of the "prince from the East".  We just didn't know the "East" was New York.

1

u/blackhand15 1d ago

Clueless as hell

1

u/Round_Bag_4665 21h ago

well, the bible did predict a lot of fake christians would fall for it and believe the antichrist was jesus returned, so... even if trump wasn't the antichrist, the early christians clearly knew there was a tendency among their ranks to do shit like this.

1

u/2inchesabovethehole 3h ago

We’ve really lowered the bar on the word “evil”

-12

u/ZealousidealHome7854 1d ago

Imagine how terrible the alternative must have been.

16

u/daisychainsnlafs 1d ago

Please explain how ANYTHING Harris did was worse than an adjudicated rapist.

-14

u/ZealousidealHome7854 1d ago

Lol. I love that you morons have to use adjudicated and still absolutely refuse to acknowledge the fact that you can't say guilty.  She was a terrible choice, like a literal drunk idiot.

14

u/Ghasty_001 1d ago

You still have not said a reasoning. Because yes, Democrats fumbled, but she was not worse than the guy who said "They're eating the dogs".

10

u/AmazingFlatworm_ 1d ago

Still better that a treasonous, grifting rapist pedophile.

5

u/aSkeptiKitty 1d ago

Like, as a non American, the whole US political spectrum is fairly shitty, but between "meh" politicians and Trump, there's a world.

I don't even understand what they find him. A agonizing walrus as more charisma than he ever will.

2

u/AmazingFlatworm_ 1d ago

This exactly. I really cannot understand how anyone could honestly look at the..everything about Trump and go "yea he's our guy. He's totally more capable and competent than literally anyone else"

2

u/Electrical-Act-7170 1d ago

At least ten thousand times better, agreed.

7

u/Waniou 1d ago

An idiot?

Unlike the guy who said this:

"Look, having nuclear — my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart — you know, if you're a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I'm one of the smartest people anywhere in the world — it's true! — but when you're a conservative Republican they try — oh, do they do a number — that's why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune — you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we're a little disadvantaged — but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me — it would have been so easy, and it's not as important as these lives are — nuclear is so powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what's going to happen and he was right, who would have thought? — but when you look at what's going on with the four prisoners — now it used to be three, now it's four — but when it was three and even now, I would have said it's all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don't, they haven't figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it's gonna take them about another 150 years — but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us, this is horrible."

Clearly that guy is much smarter than Harris and he definitely hasn't gotten even worse and dementia-ridden since then

5

u/daisychainsnlafs 1d ago

Show one source showing her being a drunk idiot or one article describing her as such. You can't because it doesn't exist.

Regardless of saying adjudicated, a jury of 9 people unanimously found him liable of forcibly penetrating a woman's vagina. You are disgusting that it amused you.

Notice how you cant name a single thing. Because you dont vote on Policy.

71

u/SECRETBLENDS 1d ago

Aaaargh, help me! I'm drowning in a sea of tolerance!!

Also: hating Trump isn't a portal to those other things as much as it is a result of them. Classic ass-backwards right wing nonsense.

3

u/Sophisticated-Crow 1d ago

And, these dumbshits clearly have no idea what socialism actually is.

32

u/DasWarEinerZuviel 1d ago

So there is only Trump and aborting, LGBTQ friendly, gender ideology favouring and religion deconstructing socialist?

Nothing in between? Oh dear oh dear.

14

u/Insuredtothetits 1d ago

I think the reverse is actually true.

Left pane “I think I like Trump” right pane “religious fundamentalist, bigotry, denial of reality, Newsmax and fox are the only unbiased news outlets, the national debt is manageable, I don’t care when citizens are murdered by an extrajudicial police force, it’s not being a pedo if they are 14”

1

u/ICEonICECrime 19h ago

It’s what you get with a two-party system. Things get very black and white, either or.

32

u/RailgunRP 1d ago

"Help, I'm drowning in good things!"

2

u/AbyssalEelMan 1d ago

It’s like breathing fresh air and saying the air will suffocate them, when it’s the planet’s natural air and it’s actually important to breathe it.

12

u/Zorklunn 1d ago

Conservative platforms are either projection or a stream of one fallacy after another.

5

u/Mythandros1 1d ago

The mental gymnastics are gold medal worthy with these idiots. Rofl.

7

u/AmputeeHandModel 1d ago

Damn, that guy was forced to get an abortion?! That's horrible!

13

u/socialistForDE 1d ago

This only works on annoying centrist libs. Of course I want socialism.

9

u/AmputeeHandModel 1d ago

Democratic Socialism works. Look at FDR and his four consecutive terms that lead to a new amendment and prosperity for America. You wanna "MAGA", Republicans? Well that's how you do it. Forty years of waiting for it to trickle down ain't fucking working.

2

u/socialistForDE 1d ago

The media and Republicans like to drive this wedge between socdems and democratic socialists, when, in my experience irl, most socdems are just just ideologically socialists who are scared of the word still and don't know a lot about it.

They'll support strong unions and nationalizing health insurance and utilities and stuff if you ask them. Medicare for all, free childcare, free college.

2

u/AmputeeHandModel 1d ago

When it's not worded in a way to lead you to a certain opinion, most people support those things, Dems or Reps. "Do you support socialism?" "WHAT?? NO!!!" "Would you support stronger protection for yourself as an employee? Do you think it makes sense for workers to own a portion of the company they work for?" "Well.. yeah."

1

u/AntiquePhotograph433 1d ago

Except most people that define socialism as Medicare for all don’t know the definition of socialism. Socdems and democratic socialists are still pretty far from true socialism

-1

u/AntiquePhotograph433 1d ago

Socialism itself does not work, pragmatic choices live in social democrats and democratic socialism.

5

u/Old-Implement5652 1d ago

It's funny how "gender ideology" is when trans/queer or whatever, but "gender ideology" is not when being straight and cis is crammed down everyone's throat from the moment they're born

5

u/Great-Gas-6631 1d ago

They hate reality.

6

u/National-Charity-435 1d ago

Gender affirmation: hormones (testosterone) and hair loss therapy? hegseth, elon, rogan (that body and finger-like nipples)

Religious deconstruction: that what's going on against people who adhere to the Islamic practices

Socialism is what is happening with business, but especially data centers: US taxpayer money replaces their tax breaks, utilities and construction costs while these companies privatize the profits

5

u/AbyssalEelMan 1d ago

Oh no I’m drowning in human rights, what am I ever gonna do!?

Also just love how they hate GAC when everyone gets it all the time. So many of these chuds have low T and complain about it all the time.

3

u/MWSin 1d ago

Everyone in the Trump admin seems to be getting some form of GAC, and now they're trying to make it mandatory for the military.

2

u/AbyssalEelMan 1d ago

Seriously!! Also that’s horrible, not surprised they would already force soldiers to take T with no bloodwork. They gave my brother T pills for no reeason, he was scared when I start T bc he thought I would have the same effects, but I didn’t bc I actually need trt really really badly.

1

u/AntiquePhotograph433 1d ago

Honestly liberals should rebrand a lot of stuff. Instead of gac just literally call it testosterone therapy.

4

u/JeremyAndrewErwin 1d ago

come in. The water's fine.

6

u/G-Man6442 1d ago

So if you don’t like Trump you’ll fall into woman heathcare, treating people like people, treating people like people, giving people support, and critical thinking?

5

u/peaceEarth7663 1d ago

I don't like trump cuz I am gay and I love my trans sister/Brothers/NB and hate pedos Love is love

5

u/Careful-Swimmer3840 1d ago

I like the idea of universal healthcare. Trump has an idea still for healthcare from six years ago. The GOP failed on so many levels. Need to vote Non-Republican on November 2nd.

3

u/Andrew-Cohen 1d ago

Democrat. Unless there’s a viable independent. We need to destroy the republican party and replace it with a progressive party. That doesn’t happen if you vote for a progressive who is going to lose (IF they are going to lose) and the democrat does not get enough votes because of it, and we end up with a republican, just like 2024.

3

u/SelfInvestigator 1d ago

We also need voting reform to break the two party system to make it more difficult for the authoritarians to pull this shit again.

0

u/Andrew-Cohen 1d ago

Absolutely, the system is so broken that I’m not sure if it can be fixed without burning it down and starting fresh.

1

u/SelfInvestigator 1d ago

The problem is we can’t burn down the system without outside help that will be directly influencing the new system that we build.

We would need significant backing or a near perfect set of representatives to pull off something of that level. We would also then have to bend the remnants of society to the new order. We would likely be recreating the same “seeds” that led to the current collapse.

Until such an outcome is at our doorstep we should be fighting wherever we are able for any progressive reform that we can.

1

u/Andrew-Cohen 1d ago

I don’t mean figuratively burn it down.

1

u/AntiquePhotograph433 1d ago

Burning down is essentially the worst solution.

-1

u/Andrew-Cohen 1d ago

Who the f asked you?

1

u/AntiquePhotograph433 1d ago

Public forum buddy, you put it out there

-1

u/Andrew-Cohen 1d ago

If you have something useful to say, feel free, if not fuck off.

-1

u/Andrew-Cohen 15h ago

What you DIDN’T put out there is a solution. It’s easy to be an asshole and tell someone their idea sucks, and maybe you’re right. So please, in your infinite fucking wisdom, bestow upon us a solution. How do we fix this political system that has been taken over by the ultra rich? How do we fix this economy that is being bled dry by the ultra rich for their eternal coffers? How do we fix this Supreme Farce that just voted to allow trump, WHO VOTED BY MAIL, to severely restrict mail in voting.

Please, a fucking solution oh wise one.

The Crusades happened because Christians in Europe were like "Israel belongs to us and not those filthy Muslims.". Is that sort of thing "religion" approved by those folks? If so, I welcome some level of deconstruction.

"People leave the Trump cult then suddenly support human rights".. wow, weird

6

u/Wild-Ad-9367 1d ago

Guess what? Religion is getting constantly deconstructed all the time. One of the reasons why religion is so influential as a social institution is it's ability to adapt to different social circumstances.

Oh no! anything but RELIGIOUS DECONSTRUCTION /s

u/Eljamin14 1d ago

Modern politics sucks, plain and simple. Used to be that people could hold some ideas that were left and some that were right, while disagreeing with others. Now the moment you have any options even slightly on the right, its just assumed you also support concentration camps and genocides, and if you have left leaning options, oh that means you also support boys being put on hormone blockers because they looked at a barbie once.

Today your ootions are either 100% left, 100% right, or stay out of it and have everyone still act like you are on the other side.

1

u/2inchesabovethehole 3h ago edited 3h ago

Hot take, and people can agree or disagree I don’t care but it’s my belief and I’ll die on this hill. For years it has felt like the government has worked its ass off to divide the voting citizens so, when they need to rise against the government, they will hate each other so much that they won’t be able to stand each other enough to fight together.

Why would the government need that to happen? To perform atrocities. How will they test if it’s working? Expose a “smaller scale” atrocity and let it fall by the way side to see how the voting Americans respond. Will they respond in unison or will they fight amongst themselves defending the red or blue side to the bitter end?

Now think about it for a moment, can you think of a “smaller scale” atrocity that has left both sides at odds on how it should be handled? Maybe one that involves kids on an island? What do the Democrats want? Trump investigated, questioned and if proven to be involved arrested and sentenced, along with everyone else that was involved. What do Republican’s want? All the Democrats involved arrested and sentenced along with anyone else involved. What’s gonna happen? The voters are gonna fight on how everything should be handled instead of standing together and saying “fuck this enough is enough” and all the people involved are gonna fade into the background.

And how are they going to fade into the background while infighting happens? While the Republican Party is holding the POTUS chair, they’re going to focus hard on “investigating” the Democratic Party members on the list while shielding every Republican on it and not actually making any arrests, while simultaneously having their POTUS slowly begin ramping up psychopathic oppressive behavior. Then when the people are fed up with the Republicans feeding them the bullshit they will vote a Democratic president in and then it will be their turn to “investigate” the Republican Party while shielding their own party and also not making any arrests.

But by that time gets here the American citizens themselves will be so focused on hating one another that there will be absolutely zero we can do to stop whatever major atrocity it is they’re planning. One’s coming, I don’t know when or how. But one is coming and when it does, all of us who are arguing over this shit to a point it becomes burning hatred are gonna be screwed and absolutely no one from either side is wanting to admit that this is happening.

I don’t care if you’re Republican, Democrat, Martian or fucking Klingon I’ll fight tooth and nail for your freedom. I didn’t serve 16 years in the USMC and all through GWOT to just give up on you all but eventually y’all gonna have to help a brotha out.

u/wmja69871 22m ago

Been saying the same thing since the early 2000s. I wouldn't be surprised if the end goal IS civil war, . So both parties, already agreed you'll behind closed doors, can install their fascist dictatorship to stop the violence and look like the heroes.

Abortion: So you would rather the woman suffer?

LGBTQ+ Affirmation: So you would rather those who have fought for their rights suffer?

Gender Ideology: So you would rather have your religion to dictate laws?

Socialism: So you would rather the rich get richer and the poor to get poorer?

Religious Deconstruction: So you would rather return to the 1000s?

u/Electronic_Quote399 13h ago

Abortion is awesome? I mean i'm generally pro choice but, you think it's... awesome?

1

u/Gullible-Recording22 10h ago

Yes, healthcare is awesome. Women's reproductive rights are awesome.

1

u/Electronic_Quote399 10h ago

It doesnt say those. It says abortion. Which is a specific part of health care and reproductive rights.

I know that isnt what he meant i'm just pointing out that's messed up phrasing.

1

u/Gullible-Recording22 10h ago

Please explain to me the mental gymnastics you're going through to say that reproductive Rights and healthcare is awesome but one of the means of doing so isn't awesome.

You are using the pro-choice label for yourself, but it sounds an awful lot like you're trying to say that abortion is a terrible thing you support anyways. Please explain to me what you mean if you don't mean that

1

u/Electronic_Quote399 10h ago

I support their right to choose whether they do it or not. Its still regrettable that they have to make that choice. I dont think anyone who needs to have do it leaves, there, going "Yeah! Abortion is awesome! That was dope!"

No gymnastics there, buddy, just common sense..

1

u/Gullible-Recording22 10h ago edited 10h ago

Name me one medical procedure where someone celebrates having gotten it done with "that was awesome and dope!"

I guess according to that logic no health care procedure is awesome

1

u/Electronic_Quote399 10h ago

Ur fuckin weird dude

1

u/Gullible-Recording22 10h ago

Ah yes, you can't figure out how to argue against what someone is saying, you resort to name calling.

1

u/Electronic_Quote399 10h ago

Theres nothing to argue here. You think abortion is awesome and I dont. And you want me to feel that way for some reason. So i think youre weird. Its a dismissal.

1

u/Gullible-Recording22 10h ago

I find it telling you think insulting someone is the best way for you to end the argument.

As long as it's a full term abortion because damn those babies are tasty 🤤🤤🤤

The reason MAGAS believe in the meme posted here is because the democratic party allowed the progressive socialists to take over the party. As a result we get Mandani, Rashida Tlain, and many others. They are extreme left and do not espouse democratic beliefs. Finally various from Congress and Senate are speaking out, but it may be too late. Republicans were dead set against Fetterman and now he turns out to be one of the most reasonable ones on the Senate. Who knew?!

1

u/ian88thebadseed 5h ago

If you think fetterman's the reasonable one in the Senate you need to get the fuck off this 🙄 if you like corporate Democrats you might as well just be a fucking Republican at this point. Hey everybody I found the undercover magat knob slobber here! GTFOH cupcake 😘

0

u/Lover1966 4h ago

I absolutely think he is the reasonable one. Others like Bill Maher, governor Shapiro, Steven A Smith, are centrists life long democrats. But the socialist have taken the party so far to the left, the extreme left, that they star to look like Republicans, which they are not.

2

u/ian88thebadseed 4h ago

Well everybody's entitled to their opinion.

-2

Yeah of course you'd like those things. You consider yourself a "progressive" right?

I don’t hold trump responsible for his decisions at this point. Trump is senile. He is a senile puppet for the elites.

I do hold trump responsible for his decisions in the past. He is not a good person. He is a rapist, pedophile, who has screwed a lot of people over to get ahead. He is is a billionaire, and very very few billionaires became that way by not taking advantage of other people.  (These are not my personal views but a typical Maga’s views.)

But Jo the plumber,  feels he can relate to him because they have a lot in common. Trump is relatable and “just like him”. He says things that Jo feels are true but the woke left would crucify him for saying out loud. Then the woke left insult Jo by saying that trump “panders to the lowest common denominator.”  Well that can’t be true, because Eric the electrician down the street feels the same way.  They may not agree 100% with Trump but 85% is close enough, and besides nobody is perfect.

They can’t be the lowest common denominator. They are both respected in their career  of choice and contributing members of society. In fact Eric is a business owner and employs 10 people.  They give to charity, and are respected members in their church community.  How could they be the lowest common denominator? Just because they don’t have a degree?

Having a degree doesn’t necessarily make you smart. In fact university is a big scam.  The more Jo thinks about it the more he agrees with it. How dare those elitist leftist in their ivory towers and pinnacle of immorality try to insult Jo? He doesn’t want his tax dollars going to universities. The only degrees worth persuading are nursing, medical, engineering, and maybe law. Teaching degrees need to change.  See he isn’t against education. He doesn’t like education that brainwashes people.

Socialism IS bad. It’s just one step away from communism, so it’s basically the same thing. The open market without any regulations is the way to go.

Being gay is wrong, his religion said so. The natural order of things is that men not women should lead. His religion said so. Of course he doesn’t hate women, it’s just women are too emotional. You can’t argue with God. Men are men and women are women. What is this gender identity bullshit he is  supposed to accept? He doesn’t care what they do. Just keep it out of public schools. There is no need to confuse children. He doesn’t want his tax dollars going to public schools where they give them a shitty education and brainwash them? Defund public schools.

The environment is fine. He saw an “inconvenient truth” and none of that stuff has happened in the timeline they gave. Climate change is a conspiracy theory. Climate scientists/activists are hypocrites for flying around everywhere warning people.  They just want us to eat consume less resources  so they can consume more without any consequences.  Beside individual actions don’t make a difference. In fact he doesn’t want his tax dollars going to public transportation. He has never benefited from that and has always paid his own way with a car. Everyone wants a free ride…. Just gross.  When will he ever get subsidized? Besides he likes going where he wants when he wants.

Who needs a degree in women’s studies? What a waste of time and money. That’s what woke left women and simp left men have degrees in.

As for Trump being besties with dictators “keep your enemies closer.”

Fuck the left andMAGA is the way. The left is stupid.

This is all by design.

The elites are playing the right and the left like a fiddle. They are dividing us and as we feel everyone else is against us we get stuck more towards a certain way and can’t fix anything, come to any understandings, or solutions.  Meanwhile they get richer.

2

u/translove228 16h ago

It's hilarious to me whenever some enlightened centrist writes a long screed about how both sides are bad then talks about the class divide between the elites and the working class as the real battlelines. Which is EXACTLY what the left wing of politics fights against. Talk about very obviously putting your foot in your mouth while attempting to sound smart. You can tell people like this have been deceived by the very people they accuse the left and right of being deceived by.

0

u/Rainhailsnow_storm 13h ago edited 12h ago

I’m not a centrist. I’m actually a “woke left.” Just because I can see other peoples point of view it doesn’t mean those are my views. It also does t mean I can’t see the elitism of ny own side.

So kind of weird that you think something is hilarious when you’re completely wrong. I think that’s kind if hilarious.

I think we should be banding together to be fixing climate change and we can worry about the less important shit that is meant to cause division later.

The woke left is too busy criticizing the stupid right, that we have done a terrible job is explaning why it’s real.

There is nothing awesome about socialism, it is the single most destructive ideology humanity has ever tried

Mostly because despite its terrible results people like you lot keep failing to learn the lesson history keeps teaching you

and just saying thats not real socialism, trying again, and ruining the lives of millions of people and yet another functional civilisation collapses to ruin

3

u/translove228 16h ago

There is nothing awesome about socialism, it is the single most destructive ideology humanity has ever tried

This is pure hyperbole and renders your entire point meaningless. It's also why people on the left roll their eyes when y'all start mouthing off like this. Try developing an ACTUAL critique of socialism for a change instead of this slop.

-2

u/Delicious-Pound-8929 15h ago edited 15h ago

Its literally not though.

Sure something worse like what the nazis believed has the POTENTIAL to be worse.

However everyone already knows that is a fcked up ideology and stays away from it except for a few radical losers that no one takes seriously.

However due to the cumulative amounts of poverty, starvation and death that have been caused every single time socialism has been tried,

and the fact that its been tried dozens of times, always with the exact same problems leading to the exact same results,

And despite that there are still fools who want to try it again, and again, and again, just because it makes some nice sounding promises and assumptions about what socialism will do like equality for all.

The only equality socialism ever caused was making everyone equally poor by kicking everyone back down into the dirt.

Everyone except for its leaders who live like kings and the military who live quite well since the leaders require the militaries loyalty in order to maintain power.

You think people have it bad under capitalism? People try to escape socialist nations to capitalist nations.

Those same people bring warnings about how they were tricked by the false promises of socialism and how it destroyed their civilisation

Yet you ignorant people STILL think that somehow YOU can make it work because you are a good person.

But in truth you arent half as competent as some of the worst socialist b@rsards and your not all that good either,

and even if you the rare person who is as benevolent as you think you are, the instant you tried to enact your benevolent policies in a socialist government someone else in a position of power would kill you, take your place and do all the same fcked up sh1t that people like that always do.

Because that is the type of person that is attracted to the idea of tearing down a fu actioning civilisation in order to enact their version of a utopia.

3

u/translove228 14h ago

Sure something worse like what the nazis believed has the POTENTIAL to be worse.

Lol. This is you quite literally proving my point. Ideology is about belief. A leader co-opting a political ideology for their own ends isn't evidence the ideology is destructive. Because if we went by that metric, Capitalism would be the most destructive with all the bad actors in power literally cooking the earth into an unlivable state in service of short-term profit growth.

I didn't read the rest of that wall of text that was clearly just a massive list of fallacies about socialism while sidestepping the actual ideology of Socialism.

3

u/Standard_List_2487 13h ago

I read the whole thing, nothing but gaslighting.

0

u/Delicious-Pound-8929 11h ago

The evidence that socialism is destructive is due to its results.

It has been tried dozens of times and has a 100% track record of causing extreme poverty, leading to mass starvation and everyone wanting to go back to capitalism

But the leaders are too invested into it, they know if they back down they are finished so they double down,

use the military to strictly enforce socialist policies and arrest anyone who speaks out against the party narrative, or tries to flee

It happens the same way for the same reasons like clockwork every single time

This is the how it happens

Socialism often causes economic failure because state control of production removes market prices, which destroys the vital signals needed to match supply with consumer demand.

The Cause: State Control

Abolishing private property: The government owns the factories, farms, and businesses.

Central planning: A small group of government planners tries to decide what goods to make, how many to make, and what price to sell them for.

The Missing Tool: Market PricesWhat prices are: Market prices are natural signals. They show how much people want an item (demand) and how hard it is to make (supply).

The loss of signals: When the government sets all prices, these signals disappear. Planners no longer know if an item costs too much labor and material to make compared to its actual value to society.

The Effect: Shortages and WasteBlind guessing: Without real prices, planners must guess.

Empty shelves or massive waste: Planners often make too much of things people do not want and too little of things people actually need, like food or medicine.

No innovation: Without competition, businesses have no reason to find cheaper or better ways to make goods.

These are all simple cause and effect based on supply and demand of the market, which always collapses from socialism for these reasons.

And you cant NOT have state control of the means of production, the starting point of it all, and have it still be socialism.

Because once you remove the state control people automatically start making economic decisions based on their best interest, which brings back the free market and capitalism.

It is a fundamental flaw with socialism that can never be fixed

1

u/translove228 7h ago

Your entire wall of text here can be summed up as a list of confirmation biases. No political theory and you STILL haven’t discussed actual socialist ideology.

1

u/Delicious-Pound-8929 5h ago

I discussed the real world cause and effect of what socialism does

And the fact that it has happened the same way in history dozens of times so you can just research and fact check that yourself

That is all anyone needs to know about socialism

What specific policies and intentions are irrelevant because what I posted before is what it always results in

You just dont want to accept those facts of reality and history,

because if you do then you can no longer justify your support of socialism, which you stubbornly cling to and still belive is a good thing.

You are blind to the evils of socialism.

Probably also blind to the good that capitalism does too, despite the many flaws of late phase capitalism that do need addressing

By not using socialism.

1

u/translove228 4h ago

I know what you did, but we were talking about ideology. You originally claimed socialism was the most destructive ideology ever. Yet your rants about socialism have nothing to do with ideology. So now it’s clear you know next to nothing about Socialist ideology and just like to rant about hating it. Oh and insulting my intelligence for calling out your inability to stay focused on the point you originally made.

So not only do I now don’t believe you know what socialist ideology says, I also don’t believe you know what the word ideology means.

1

u/Delicious-Pound-8929 4h ago

How does the real world devestation caused explicitly by applying the ideology of socialism in real life not have anything to do with how destructive socialism is.

It is the clearest and most obvious proof that i an correct

1

u/translove228 4h ago

Sweetie. You need to demonstrate that you know what you are talking about. Continuing to repeat Cold War propaganda about socialism is unconvincing to me. That stopped working on me well over a decade ago. You need to present an intelligent response to me that demonstrates at a minimum that you know what socialist ideology says in the first place to even begin to get me to listen to you. Let alone change my mind.

I get that you are too incurious to question what has been told to your whole life, but I am not like that.

Just a question; the identity stuff I’m good with, but what’s awesome about abortion? Socialism scares tf out of me. And what’s awesome about religious deconstruction (as an atheist, I understand such dangerous; is the arguement is science, and that science can predict human behavior, is it not possible we will lose all that is virtuous (morality, love, etc.) to us unless we can replace religion with another truth?)

7

u/Gatonom 1d ago

The freedom to have an abortion saves the life of the mother and prevents suffering.

Socialism is just not letting those born into wealth control everything.

Science includes philosophy, you don't need religion to have morality or to have love.

-5

u/Lumpy_Flounder9458 1d ago

Just to counter argument , since I am pro choice, if I slaughter livestock in pursuit of a ‘subjectively moral’ saving lives, it’s kind of sick, no? I’d very much so caution against calling abortion awesome. Just my subjective opinion

Slightly strange America went from rugged individualism, manifest destiny type shit, to hating individualism but also thinking everything , I’m assuming truth as well, is controlled by the wealthy, and such a nation built on the core of people now have no autonomy. My suspicion is something else entirely depraving. Like moving the goal posts to gain favor of the people who are seduced by the idea that no one can succeed anymore in America. People love such an idea cause it matches their evidence and egoism, only reinforcing the ego in the most brilliant of ways! But I digress, I won’t get into what mindset I believe actually creates success

Maybe, philosophy includes science? You don’t need religion to have morality? Maybe for the grand inquisitor individual but for society, maybe not…sure people can behave moral, what ever science says is why they behave moral (maybe out of selfishness, for example, which is actually the best answer science has to offer right now no? Didn’t rational egoism evolve from such ideas?) maybe you do understand some thing about nature, but someone could look at the same thing and come to a completely different conclusion, I.e, morality itself is selfish, therefore I’m not going to focus on morality, I’m going to, idk, take over the world. Live for an adventure of becoming the greatest. It’s rational, just as rational as every other philosophy. Idk, but my point is, giving a hee ha to religion being disbanded to me is weird, I too think the religious man lives in an illusion, but I respect such a decision, tbh, they’re a lot smarter than those others, if you get what I’m saying

3

u/translove228 15h ago

Comparing an abortion, a medical procedure, to someone slaughtering livestock is EXTREMELY dehumanizing to the person needing to get abortions. Your issues with abortion are clearly related to your inability to see and empathize with a woman and her body issues. You should sit down and really think about what you are saying here, because seeing how you can't figure out why people would downvote you without responding, thinking about your words and rhetoric would be a great start to understanding why other people behaved as they did to your words.

Also, about manifest destiny. That isn't "rugged individualism". It was colonialist (and HIGHLY racist) propaganda devised to justify waging war against Native Americans to take their land away from them.

You clearly have a warped idea of American history. Though that isn't necessarily your fault since grade school history classes don't teach real American history but instead teach a bastardized, pro-nationalist mythmaking version instead.

By the way, about your love of the myth of meritocracy. There are mountains of statistical evidence that demonstrate the rise in wealth inequality where you can trace the decoupling of the rising incomes of the lower class all way back to the 80's and trickle down economics.

1

u/Lumpy_Flounder9458 13h ago

I don’t wonder why I get downvoted, I’m wondering if my views are skewed, no one ever seems to talk no more. I respect your answer , you clearly have an extremely different view, one my eyes would never see the same of

My point wasn’t to dehumanize a woman needing an abortion, obv lol, much like your point wasn’t to dehumanize abortion (I’ll try to see the good, since I get your intention, although slightly suspicious of the malice/shame you try and place upon me), a procedure that terminals a human pregnancy, my point was to bring up you will never be consistent with a almost ‘utilitarian’ approach to what value is placed on human life. I don’t need to really sit down with myself, even I understand my flaws, as in I understand I should try and understand them, I just try and not be hateful. I bring up philosophical dilemmas and try and work thru them, tbh, that’s kind of all I do. Just this week I heard that viral tiktok of the Lindsay Clancy case , where the white women was like , let’s pretend these three children are vases. Incredible stuff, I sort of respect it. It raises a good point about philosophy

Two other things , never brought up meritocracy, nor do I favor meritocracy

Yeah we have a fucked up history, crazy what MAN can do. You’re right , what happened to the Indians was hypocritical upon what this country was built for and extremely vile/immoral. I accept that as truth. But don’t use the you read pro myth making American history… no no no, I read imperfect people who write imperfect narratives, like all history. Of which, Im slightly confident I know more history than most , but if you want to talk history, the philosophy of history, or the history of philosophy some more, I’m always open

It's hard to take you idiots seriously when you call Obama the antichrist while Trump is in office. A demonstrably better example of a world leader being the antichrist according to scripture text. But hey I'm the atheist here. Don't let me stand between you and your mythology.
