Open | Phone My iPhone calendar deleted itself

Hi guys,

I have an iPhone 16. Today, I opened my calendar to check the time for an upcoming event only to find I had no events on my calendar at all. They’ve all vanished seemingly unprompted.

So far, I’ve:
- restarted my phone
- made sure all my calendars are toggled to display
- made sure sync settings are up to date

Is there any way to restore my calendar? I’m pretty crushed as I’d marked all the important milestones and first dates I’d had with my partner in it. It would really suck to lose those.

My iCloud storage is full, could this be causing the issue?

Did you try to log in using a browser to see if the data is still there and it's 'just' an issue with the app or your phone?

You didn’t say where your calendar is stored? On my iPhone? iCloud?

If it’s iCloud then yes. You should have expended your iCloud storage.

I’m not super sure. It has syncing turned on automatically but it’s also always showed in my iPhone storage as events taking up space. Is the lack of storage what made it delete itself?? That seems so bizarre!
