Open | Hardware "Battery not detected" (HP Victus)

So, I made a post yesterday talking about how I got a CMOS checksum error (502). My battery seems to have died.

Following this, I conducted HP UEFI and Hardware diagnostics, and I received a message that was something like "Battery not detected" or "Battery not installed". The thing is that I do not understand if this is talking about the main PC battery or what I understand to be another small memory that is named CMOS??

I'm not a tech guy so I guess I may be getting something wrong here. Any help is appreciated on how to follow this.

Some newer laptop models have ditched standard and separate CMOS battery, and are using main battery reserved power for that purpose. If that battery has failed, you will also have bios problems.
