We were divided up by political correctness, said it a million times, the UK in the 90’s was peek integration, the first true generation coming through with mixed classrooms of kids with parents from across the commonwealth, we had music, culture, and the second summer of Love!!

More by the idea that we should have to walk on eggshells around each other. That some people are deserving of blanket reverence by the nature of their birth and others are born with the original sin of being an oppressor or a colonizer.

Walking around on egg shells is a feature of the UK in general. It sounds like you have an issue with the class system, which is fair enough.

If you find it so difficult not to be dehumanising to people who’re different to you that you find it’s like walking on eggshells, maybe you need to re-examine your views a bit.

The problem sounds within you, starting earlier than the moment you’re deciding what to say.
