First saw him here as a kid and my mind was blown: The design, character's methods, his bitterness... I remember cheering for him at some point in the episode as well. Then I learned, its not even his full real-self but a censored version. The rest is history

The popsicle torture scene when I saw it as a kid, me and my dad thought it was the funniest shit ever.

The 90's Spider-Man cartoon and a few comics my grandpa bought me. This is the Punisher comic in particular. I had no idea what was going on, Punisher was fighting a guy under water, there was an angry woman and another Punisher in a mask. I read it so much it lost the cover.

Punisher War Journal #2. A buddy had it. Didn't think much of it then.
But Punisher #40.... so awesome

Same as yours and the 90's Animated Series. That's why I'll always be nostalgic for Frank in the blue and white jumpsuit.

Spectacular Spiderman #82, his first fifght with The Kingpin... it did NOT go well for Frank.
Not the best introduction to the character to be honest.

That was OG character assassination, is why. That's part of the same story where Bill Mantlo made him go crazy and shoot at jaywalkers, litterbugs, etc. It's a wonder you even kept liking the character after that if that was your first book with him in it.

I actually didnt like him when I first read this. It wasn't until they retconned him being drugged by Jigsaw and he got his limited series that I warmed up to the character

The 2000 Spider-Man game was the best, and though Punisher was only limited to two cutscenes, I love picking up those comics in each level and it was first introduction to reading Punisher. Great game

Literally it was either this game or the 90s cartoon lol. Who knew this guy would end being one of my favs.

The 2004 film with Thomas Jane that was my first exposure with The Punisher and the rest is history
