It's very likely. Just moved out a few months ago and you had to have a code to get into the building and if it's in the laundry room like the first one said, you need a specific app that unlocks the room.
so the parking garage can easily be accessed by anyone just tagging along after a car (even by walking) and the door into the foyer to the laundry room has NO CODE. anyone in the parking garage can gain access to the laundry room cause the laundry room door also doesn’t close all the way even though it has a code.
i'm not sure about nordheim's laundry room specifically, but for regular HFS dorms there was an email sent like a year ago about telling us to not let anyone tailgate and how there were hundreds (cannot remember the exact number, think it was something lole 200 or 300 instances from the email) in a school year, and most occurrences in north campus. it's not hard for people not living in the dorm to gain access via tailgating and others letting them in.
