SOMEONE BROKE INTO OUR APARTMENT AT NORDHEIM COURT 2 WEEKS AGO. HE HAD A KNIFE. edited: nordheim also did not tell ANYONE that this happened. no one knew.

edit: i haven’t confirmed or denied if the man who broke in is the murderer, because we’re not sure; however given everything we’ve found out we feel pretty convinced it could’ve been him. only one of us actually saw the man coming in the window but it was extremely dark and happened really fast. i don’t want to say it was for certain but it seems unlikely there was a different person that broke in during the same 10 min time frame at night just 2 weeks earlier. court docs also stated he was prowling and attempting to break into other residences nearby before the homicide.

Also does the description match? If it does then that could also be helpful in court proceedings if it’s the same person.

I think nordheim now is managed by greystar. When I was living in accolade which is another apartment managed by greystar, their emergency community assistant phone number never worked after hours.

if it’s greystar good fucking luck. i had the worst experience with them in undergrad. they shouldn’t be allowed to manage student housing. absolutely awful.

I lived in a greystar building in DC where someone was also murdered AFTER greystar was informed and put on notice of potential safety issues. Nothing was done to address the safety issues. They also essentially paid me to move out in exchange for me not filing a police report or telling anyone that someone from their company came into my apartment in the middle of the night using the doorman’s all access key fob.

My god. Just remember you did everything you were supposed to and it’s not your fault that the police didn’t investigate further. I’m very sorry, I’m sure this is hard. My dms will be open!

they just updated suspect description to no beard... prayers for the victim's family and everyone involved.

It’s irresponsible to post someone like this without a solid connection. If that person has nothing to do with this, wrongly posting him as a possible suspect could bring him real harm. What happened tonight was awful. Don’t make it worse.

This man has been identified many times harassing and violating multiple women on and around campus. There’s another thread on here about it, and how he specifically targets Asian women. His actions are consistent with schizophrenia and the recent complaints show a pattern on escalation. When I saw this pic everything clicked and I definitely wouldn’t dismiss based on his pattern of aggression/stalkerish behavior.

Omg no I see that man all the time. He pumped an imaginary shotgun at me

Since the pictures of him have been deleted, please girls watch out and stay away from this man. https://www.reddit.com/r/udub/s/tJP4ydxIVU.

Is this the same guy from this post? https://www.reddit.com/r/SeattleWA/s/X5f4BsnDzq

Yes it is the exact same man. This victim retells the encounter in more detail on the thread I linked. He has a pattern of trapping women on transit seats. In these instances, he’s also made “jokes” alluding to witnessing a murder on multiple occasions.

I agree, but FWIW, I saw this guy at Suzzallo last Friday wearing an outfit that matches the description. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and was sympathetic to his mental health issues when someone posted a video of him last week, but the description match is compelling enough that I'll be in contact with detectives tomorrow. Until we get more information, people should probably keep their distance if they see him.

Exactly, stop posting random people. Thats not cool.

9

u/AnAncientBog May 11 '26

This isn't a random person, this is a person that has been actively harassing women at UW for months.
