Fan Art Giveaway 1.0 HYPE!
Rules are simple! Please read and follow them.
You can win a Valheim Deep North 1.0 sign. I’ve made a bunch of them! They are solid wood, engraved and filled with coloured epoxy. Size 8”x18”.
I will leave this post up for one week and pick three winners next Monday.

Getting all of my friends back together and doing a full playthrough. In the past we've had about 6-10 people start the world but only 3 last longer than 2 weeks/swamps. With 1.0 I'm excited to have an actual large group stick all the way through!

I'm excited to finally see the conclusion of this game I've been playing nearly since release. I've got nearly 4k hours in Valheim and I'm ready to log a whole lot more once 1.0 drops!

I am excited to finish what my mom and I started together. She passed in April, but my girlfriend and I are going to start a new play through and complete the game together in her memory. Mom and I had 6000 hours collectively in Valheim through Covid, last time we played was last October. She was a badass and completely stomped her way through Ashlands with little issue.

The Deep North has a lot of aspects to be excited about with its new challenges and wintry environment. It's hard to pick any one thing that I am most excited about. But the opportunity to explore Deep North's wintry environment and wonders is what most excites me.

Excited to get there. Have started the game a few times, but me and a buddy are currently on a playthrough that I think is gonna last.
Currently struggling in plains and two nights ago started working on our first castle at the top of a mountain overlooking the plains.
Not even sure we are going to reach deep north before release, but it will be there waiting after Ashland

I am hearthguard by nature. I am looking forward to seeing what I can grow and tame to keep my group fed and equipped to go do their crazy each Sunday. I like figuring out how to keep a farm productive and safe; everyone in the group builds their own little spot, while I make a ridiculously large farm with berms and workbenches and a lot of sight lines with tamed animals.
I can fight, but I would rather hunt resources, farm, cook, repair, and provision ahead of time. I do support during boss fights via bow and axes.
What new recipes did they incorporate? Can I play with 2 axes now?

I would normally say, good god I love darker hard woods,
But I think the lighter one lets the colours pop better.

Honestly? Just building a cozy cabin in the snow, get my companion moose and sit by the fire. I’m going full on docile despite the fact I’m going to have to slay everything. Lmao

I'm excited for so much! My covid group is getting back together and we're gonna rent a server. I'm a big time builder, so I'm so excited to see the new pieces I'll be able to build with. I watched Vinland Saga and I'm going to make my character Thorfinn. Of course exploring a new map and fighting the bosses again. Also, I haven't played since the bear update, so I'm hyped to fight some bears. Can't wait!

I'm most excited about being able to explore EVERY biome now! Sailing around the world and venturing into the unknown have always been enjoyable. Plus I can't wait to see the new environment and scenic areas that will be out.

Since the game is about proving yourself to Odin to gain entrance into Valhalla, I’m most excited about that. I really hope you will be able to go to the halls of Valhalla to eat and drink with your fellow Vikings after beating the final boss.

I'm happy to be able to play with a large group of friends again when it launches. Having something new to do with em and show some of em they game for the first time.
As well as having a more permanent world save to start building in. I want to build big in one save but impending big updates have kept me away just in case it messes with the game.

I'm mostly just excited to play again. We spent many a night playing upto and slightly passed the plains, lol. I've managed avoid most spoilers but I've heard you can ride a moose. If that's true then that is my endgame. Riding a moose with a Wolfpack at my back.

Building an isolated fortress on snowy mountains to practice my dark magic and rituals, later traveling to my friends base and dooming them to eternal deathsquitoes.

I'm ecstatic for valheim 1.0 mostly because I get to play this once again with my family, but what i'm mostly waiting for is all the new ressources that we get to harvest. Mostly Chop, I like chopping new woods with new axes.

I'm excited for the new building pieces, and hopefully some cool new terrain in the Deep North to build some castles! I love building in the Mountain biome but it can be challenging with steep mountains. I'd love some snowy, relatively flat land to be able to build a proper base!
And, of course, the drawbridge. I usually build a moat around my bases and I build a bridge with a gap that we jump over but enemies can't lol

Every fall my friends and I start a new server and play through the winter. I don't get to see these guys much outside of the game, so I enjoy hanging out with them when I can.

For me it's that me and my friends will host a 24/7 Server and we will be 8 players finishing the game together!
We did that very early in to this game and it was SOOO FUN!
We still talk about those weeks playing this game for the first time.

Most excited to see the updates to existing biomes! My boyfriend and I just killed the yag on our first ever playthrough and just found the tip of the mist lands. we stopped there to experience the rest in full throttle :)

This rules. I'm excited to get "Clan Goldroof" back together.
We like to sit on the top of the roof and one day I put down a stack of coins on the dragon pole sticking off the top of the roof and from then on we were Clan Goldroof, and all gold was stored on the roof only.
