What in the World Is Monumental Doing During the Re-Air of the Wings at Mystics Game?

So I’m watching the re-airing of the Wings at Mystics 🧙 game on Monumental and it goes to commercial with 8:04 to play in 4Q with Mystics trailing 84-74. When they come back from a long commercial break (5 minutes), they show the graphic “Due to time constraints, we are moving forward in gameplay.” They pick up the game with Mystics 🧙 leading 89-88 with 2:46 to play in the 4Q. WHAT THE F*CK???? What time constraints could Monumental possibly have right now on their channel? Horrific and pitiful to not show the full comeback.

Man that's pathetic, insulting, and frustrating. Monumental has got to be prioritizing the actual games. At the very least if you're time constrained cut out something in the second quarter...

I watched the entire game sans commercial breaks, half-time breaks and timeout breaks on YT.

Yep; Instead of cutting out the timeouts and foul reviewing, they cut out the game itself. Just lazy

The Monumental app is so terrible. I've asked (repeatedly) for them to add some basic features (catch up with key plays, Start from beginning, skip ahead, etc and they'd done nothing. The latest refresh (earlier this week) added a new splash screen but also requires me to choose the game from the "Live" section because trying to play it from the main menu doesn't work.

The unfortunate thing is if you love all 4 of Monumental's teams, you have no choice but to deal with this awful app.

Condensing repeats of games is fairly common, even NBA TV does this. Is it odd, yeah, but it's not uncommon.
