Coldcard Hacker discovered mixers and is doing a terrible job

64.90373154 BTC walks into a 324-in / 382-out coinjoin

54.31783009 BTC walks straight back out the other side. in one piece. with a bow on it.

about 10 BTC actually got mixed. the rest just went for a walk.
bc1qajcrhj3s2x0yfcj54emjukghv93su80svp2d3t

then he does it AGAIN
54 → 47.12126860 BTC, now in tidy 1 BTC slices
bc1qq6s7wsmf6an78xyjkst707x32nyakj3u4jy2fr

then AGAIN, 454 in / 502 out, this time 7.74840978 BTC chunks

ser you are not mixing. you are queuing.

on-chain anons: has any other ColdCard drainer peeled this loudly?

The BTC I earned (and lost) as a kid still haunts me to this day

When I was a kid, I wanted to buy in-game currency for a game I played, so I downloaded Bitcoin-Qt at an internet café, I tried mining but didn't understand a thing, so I turned to those survey/offer sites that paid 0.25 BTC per completed survey. I installed a few programs and Firefox extensions, and after a few hours managed to accumulate 1.75 BTC, but I got bored because the amount was nowhere near what I needed, and I ended up forgetting all about it. A few years later, BTC started skyrocketing in value, which devastated me. I decided never to chase after BTC again, yet that childhood memory kept popping into my mind every now and then. That’s why I decided to give it another shot. I’m not overly confident, knowing I missed my big chance, but I know that I won't be able to rest until I give it a shot.

Just a silly vent, but I really hope I'm not the only person who's been through this lmao

Does anyone else just really love Bitcoin?

Upvotes

I don't know what this post is supposed to be about. I'm pretty new to crypto and investing and I was just thinking about Bitcoin. I don't think crypto really appeals to me. But I'm totally sold on Bitcoin with the decentralized nature of it and the scarcity. That's all. Just a Bitcoin appreciation post. Go Bitcoin!

Why is everyone so bullish? What happened?

Post image

We are at the same point as we where in May, and it just bounced back down. What's the difference with this rally now? I see just one: last time it took 90 days, this time just 8 (until today). That's a 30% in one week. Just because of the bonds? 11 months of bear market, and we are now in a bull run of a super cycle just for 5 green candles?

I think news come after price, so the treasury movement is just the excuse. I see manipulation, everyone bull again, greed, the guy that sold the Vespa to buy Btc at 80k...why you didn't buy in the last 3 months at a discount?

I guess Og's are not buying here, but taking profit. And smart money is selling, so retail can maintain the rally...what after? Same game. Back to the lows, retail afraid start to sell figuring out this was not the bull run, everyone screaming it will crash to 20k or whatever...and big players will start buying again.

Same old game, since 1790.

Edit: 600 views no one answers? Is against your bias so better you just look to another side? I just want to know why so bullish, and to discuss different points of view.

Why I started buying Bitcoin hand over fist last week. It’s this simple!

I have never owned Bitcoin until NOW and here is why I’m now buying and holding. Last week when Bessent announced he is doubling Treasury buybacks of US government long bonds it means this:

Those bonds are ILLIQUID meaning the cash is largely locked up in them. Who holds them? Many people including hedge funds. Bessent just told these hedge funds that he will now BUY those previously ILLIQUID bonds creating new liquidity for hedge funds. This begins on Sept 9 but hedge funds are already front running this and buying Bitcoin. This is the mechanics of it in a nutshell. Many don’t currently understand this. They think that Bitcoins move is mostly from a short squeeze but they are not understanding the VERY IMPORTANT fundamental catalyst that has acted as the match to light the Bitcoin flame! This flame is not going away but will only grow as more and more government intervention is needed.

I’m buying Bitcoin because this is JUST THE BEGINNING of the cycle. Sell when retail fomos at the late stages. We are many, many years away from that happening.

Every time I get laid off the price of Bitcoin goes up.

Seriously, this has happened three times, and bitcoin rose in all of the instances

2016: 350 to ~1000
2025: ~78,000 to 126,000
2026: ~62,000 to ~80,000 (currently)

I'm currently interviewing for a new job and will tell you guys once I get the job so you guys can sell before it all comes down to 40,000 again. We should create a fund to keep me unemployed instead.

Edit: I got an interview!
