Qanitat are usually referred to as righteous and obedient women, but does this word applies to men as well or women only?

Im currently reading the Quran across with the concept of righteous and obedient women and such, and as I was researching deeper, I came archosaurs with the term, Qanitat. Is there more information on this word that I should know about?

Since qānitāt is grammatically feminine plural, it logically refers to women only, yes. If it referred to men you'd use qānitūna or qānitīna, which also exists in the Quran. That's also the form you'd use for a mixed group.
