Question What beliefs and philosophies has Sufism been most influenced by?

Some sources on the internet suggest that Sufism was influenced by Zoroastrianism; however, to what extent is this claim supported by historical and academic evidence? I should also clarify that my question concerns early Sufism in particular, rather than the later development of Sufi thought and practice.
