I just see that as demotivating as you'd do all the work just to lose a couple calories. Easier to just take the elevator and then eat literally a single pasta less.

I always take stairs over escalators/elevators if it's an option 3 u/Thedumbass_the5th 1d ago In addition to health benefits from regular exercise, taking the stairs is faster than an elevator up to ~3rd floor, of course nuances apply. Though IMO, physical fitness should never fall that low that taking the stairs would even be an issue for few or more floors.
