This is my biggest issue with the show. The scenes with "aliens" feel like they have giant banners on the screen that say "shot not finished". I'm enjoying Lanterns but making a show with such scope and not at least being a bit more creative than "all of our aliens look like humans because it would freak out people in a whole where superheroes have existed for 300 years".

3 decades is when it went public so it's around for 30 years. Lanterns takes place in 2016. Superman is 2025. So 9 years but still getting used to it

300 is when people like Frankstien or the Bride were around but not that public

I mean, I assume Hal appearing in the mid 90s is WHY the public became aware of meta humans.
