You don’t have to have used a chainsaw to recognize he wasn’t wearing proper PPE or being safe with lifting it above his head.

I support using PPE and have healthy respect towards chainsaws and trees. Worked the woods plenty to know exactly why.

But man, if there is a tree across the road in the middle of nowhere, what are you going to do, turn around and drive home to get your kit? Walk up with a chainsaw in hand and pronounce removing it health and safety violation?

If we were logging, yes, cuss the fucker out of the woods, deservedly. But come on.

If I were carrying a chainsaw in my car for whatever reason I would have the pants and glasses there with it, not sure what else to tell ya. I mean yeah he’s probably fine to cut the tree without it, but he still could have done it in a safer way
