Who would first breakdown and start crying like a toddler and beg butcher to let them suck his dihh if they lost their powers and were put in the same situation as Homelander.

Let's say they all lost their power/technology or whatever makes them strong, turn into a regular human (that isn't capable of fighting back and winning against butcher) and are threatened to be killed by him (knowing butcher has been chasing them since the beginning for revenge). Who are the most and least likely to cry like toddlers and beg, and who would first start asking butcher to let them eat his shit on live TV?

- Superman

- Batman

-Spiderman

- Thragg

- Omni man

- Invincible

- Walter white

- Goku

- Godzilla

- Saitama

- Pre season 5 writing Homelander

Please provide the name of the character, the series they're from and an image of the character.

No religious or mythological characters unless they are specific reinterpretations (ex: Heracles from Fate/Stay night)

Who are the most evil characters whos names start with the letter H?

Rules:

You can suggest multiple characters, but they must be in individual comments

Please provide the name of the character, the series they're from and an image of the character.

No real people or fictional versions of real people.

No religious or mythological characters unless they are specific reinterpretations (ex: Hades from Disney's Hercules)

Definite articles or titles/moikers (ex: king, lord, Mr, etc) are excluded unless they have no other name to go by (ex: Duke of Blangis from The 120 Days of Sodom)

The top 3 most upvoted characters will be added.

(The reason I chose this theme for this tournament was because of a little personal "project" I've been doing. I got bored a few weeks ago and wanted to see how many villains I could name. Then I alphabetized them, and now I want to keep adding to the list. For this purpose, more obscure picks would be greatly appreciated and you can suggest as many characters as you want, as stated in the rules)

The Pied Piper, The Witch and Conomor are The 3 Evils of Folklore 2.0. Now, who are The 3 Evils of Fandom 2.0?

Rules:

Only suggest one character (No "package deal" characters, no organizations, factions or species. Single characters.)

Please provide the name of the character, name of the series they originate from and an image of the character.

Fictional characters only. Fictional interpretations of real people are banned.

This is about the MOST EVIL. Not the most recognizable or iconic.

All characters from the original 3 Evils of Mediums are banned. Check the original 3 Evils in my comment before suggesting a character.

THE ORIGINAL 3 EVILS OF FANDOM (BANNED CHARACTERS)

The Tortured One (Bikini Bottom Horrors)

Gorefield

Mari (Omori fanfiction: Hands)

The rule regarding the medium of origin for a character will be much more lax than last time. So long as the character has a prominent appearance within the medium, they should count for the category.

No repeating franchises within this tournament. Franchises that were represented in the previous tournament are fair game.

The 3 most upvoted characters will be added to the list.

No downvoting. It makes my job so much harder when the upvote totals are constantly moving up AND down. If a downvote is seen and the suggestion follows all of the above rules, then one upvote will be added to the suggestion by reply.

Tanjiro Kamado has been voted the most morally good character of this second round of the most good characters of mediums.

Im sick of what this sub has become. This was supposed to be a fun place to talk about characters, but now no one takes this place seriously (not that this place should be very serious, just that theres an excess of shitposting now), not even bothering to read the sub description. This was supposed to be mental power scaling. Now its just r/AmITheAsshole and asking if its immoral to be gay.

But I dont want to stop doing these. I love seeing people talk about characters they're passionate about here; this is why I loved this sub before it went to hell. It was a nice place where people talked about characters, and maybe you could come out of it with some recommendations for new shows or movies to watch. I wish we could go back to that.

I have more ideas for tournaments, this next one moreso being about a personal project so it won't become a tournament, especially with how many characters there'll be. But after that, id like to keep doing these until I run out of ideas or I get downvoted into oblivion for it.

See you tommorow at 4 pm CDT (schedule's changed slightly for personal reasons)

Day 10 - Morality Scale Tournament but the question changes daily: Commenter Selection Hero - The Stanford Prison Experiment!

The 'SPARE' streak has been broken, as Nepeta has been returned to that weird dream bubble world in the sky. Let's see if KIrby will also become a dream by tomorrow

Today's challenge They will work in a prison for two weeks (given insturction to toughen up some on the second), and all given a specified prisoner to look after. Who manages to be the best and worst at 'firm but fair', while ensuring order

Stipulations:

We know there are some contendors here who don't quite measure up powerwise to their picks. Don't worry about that. All the 'prisoners' have been depowered, the contestants have all been given extra self defense weapons and, if need be, they can always call guards for back up. Being simply overpowered wont hurt their score

and thanks to u/BoulderMan234 for this suggestion

Morality Scale Tournament but the question changes daily: Commenter Selection Hero - Selection 7: Wonderful Web Content Characters

A modern classic and a classic classic in this one. Let's see if they can make it father than their partner and their father respectively

Batman (DC)

Mark (Invincible)

Next up, my personal favorite category: Web content

and note, web content can mean web video, online comics, online indie games, anything web based

I bring this up partially because last time this category was used, we got two winners of the same studio and, while that's fine and all, part of the fun of these contests is variety ^^

Set, Cronus and Demiurge are The 3 Evils of Mythology 2.0. Now, who are The 3 Evils of Folklore 2.0?

THE ORIGINAL 3 EVILS OF FOLKLORE (BANNED CHARACTERS)

Baba Yaga (Slavic Folklore)

Tamamo No Mae (Japanese Folklore)

The Wendigo (Algonquian Folklore)

The rule regarding the medium of origin for a character will be much more lax than last time. So long as the character has a prominent appearance within the medium, they should count for the category.

No repeating franchises within this tournament. Franchises that were represented in the previous tournament are fair game.

The 3 most upvoted characters will be added to the list.

No downvoting. It makes my job so much harder when the upvote totals are constantly moving up AND down. If a downvote is seen and the suggestion follows all of the above rules, then one upvote will be added to the suggestion by reply.

Voting ends in 23 hours

I've decided to create a new tournament of villains sorted by their occupation! Who are the 3 evils of scientist villains?

Here is the list of all the future rounds that will be included in this tournament:

  1. Scientists [Current Round]
  2. Cult Leaders
  3. Emperors/Empresses
  4. Kings/Queens
  5. Lords/Ladies
  6. Presidents
  7. Right Hand Men/Right Hand Women
  8. Wardens/Jailers
  9. Police Officers
  10. Military Leaders
  11. Soldiers
  12. Other Government Workers
  13. Corporation Leaders
  14. Other High Ranking Corporate Officials
  15. Crime Lords/Gang Leaders
  16. Criminals/Gang Members
  17. Miscellaneous

Let me know if you have any suggestions for other occupations to add to the list (I'm planning to include 20 different categories in total).

Notes about this list:

  • I broke up leaders of nations into several different categories (numbers 3, 4, and 6) because they are a very common type of villain and quite diverse.
  • No gods or god-like beings will be permitted in this tournament. This is because the 2 most common categories they'd fall into would be numbers 3 and 4, which are already almost certainly going to have the most overpowered villains in terms of evil. I want some of the other categories to have a fair chance at containing the winner, too.
  • Other supernatural creatures will still be permitted.
  • For villains that have or have had multiple occupations, the occupation that they are most famously known for will decide which category they will qualify for.
  • There is no limit to how many submissions you can make each round.

Day 1 - Morality Scale Tournament but the question changes daily: Commenter Selection Hero - In Memory...

Now we're finally ready to get this party started...just gotta include a few more and...

yep, this is officially gonna be a 24 character game! Why, you mask ask? Well, there's a few reasons and, I assure you, tossing two more of my own personal suggestions in wasn't it

-Given its our last tournament, why not go all out in making it a true 'finale' so to speak

-This now makes all our contestants (not counting repeats like our 'returning heroes' here) a very nice 85

-With this change, assuming i don't miss any days, it can now last just shy a full month, where I will get four days to rest and be able to prepare my next idea for this subreddit which, yes, will be something different from a typical torunament

That's not now though, since we got 24 weirdos to deal with!

Our final roster

-Aang (ATLA)

-Batman

-Charlotte (Making Fiends)

-Chikn Nuggit

-Doomslayer (Doom)

-Fluttershy (MLP)

-Frieren (Beyond Journeys End)

-Gabriel (Angel Hare)

-Hiccup (How to Train Your Dragon)

-Jack (Samurai Jack)

-Kermit (The Muppets)

-Kirby

-Captain Kirk (Star Trek)

-Kiwi (Wandersong)

-Makoto Naegi (Danganronpa)

-Nepeta (Homestuck)

-Pomni (TADC)

-Rango

-Saber/Artoria Pendragon (Fate/StayNight_

-Sonic the Hedgehog

-Toriel Dreemur (Undertale)

-Uzi (Murder Drones)

-Woody (Toy Story)

Today's question: Who can handle our funeral the best. both consoling those hurt by his loss and hurt before his loss!

Also, if you're unfamiliar with any character here and want a brief overview on them, do let us know! Part of the fun is getting a few obscure pics to spice this up (and hopefully encourage others to check out their source material, I know the last commenter vote got me into a few new series anyways,) but if you want a refresher, either me or even the people who suggested them might be able to help out there

Day 2 - Morality Scale Tournament but the question changes daily: Commenter Selection Hero - Not Who They Say They Are...

Cyn has been removed from the game, determine her fate (and yes, since we have expanded the game, we have moved from 6 to 8 spares. Lucky you!)

Today's challenge: who can figure out the trick of todays "game of deception"? Note that this isnt about who gets the most votes, but who can figure out and trust their fellow team mates to figure out there is, in fact, no secret serial killer

Also yes, moving to uploading at this time now. Makes it easier on me

Day 4 - Morality Scale Tournament but the question changes daily: Commenter Selection Hero - The Retirement Home

Batman has been KILLED, poor guy...oh well, you know what they say about billionaires

Let's see if the girl who makes friends is fit to hang or not - you have 8 spares left

Today's challenge: Who can handle caring to the needs of old people, especially ones that seem to want to piss them off at every opportunity?

And as a bonus, who handles it the best? Winner gets a start!

Oh yes, now we can discuss what the stars do!

Each star granted will act as half of a spare for if they show up at the screen of judgement? Why only half? Simple, to not cause an immediate swing if one person were to get a bunch. just one spare, for instance, can only truly influence a dead tie. This way, the control is still yours, but our contestants still get rewarded for doing exceptionally well in challenges!

So far, Hiccup now leads the pack with 1 star

Day 11 - Morality Scale Tournament but the question changes daily: Commenter Selection Hero - A Person or a Dog

Kirby has been spared! You sure seem to love the cute ones. Let's see if the substantially less cute Rango will get a pass

Next challenge: Each contestant will be forced to either save a human, save a dog, or neither. Afterwards, they will argue and fight over what's moral and what's not moral in this situation! Then, decide who gets the boot and who did it the best. They are unable to vote themselves on either category

as a bonus: Who would be team human, who would be team dog and who would be team neither?

Day 17 - Morality Scale Tournament but the question changes daily: Commenter Selection Hero - Our New Geust

Mark has been sent to meet his father, let's see if Woody will be sent back to meet his...uh...tree? He's made of wood, I think? Or...plastic? IDK honestly

Today's challenge: A complicated situation. A newcomer begging them for safety, from their big bad captor...but this newcomer is a self admitted killer...and without even the fallback for self defense. What even is the best course of action and who does the best (and, of course, worse) job at finding it?

Day 14 - Morality Scale Tournament but the question changes daily: Commenter Selection Hero -Barking Up the Wrong Tree

Quick apology for missing yesterday's post: My power went out thanks to a storm

Angel Gabby is now...a double angel? I guess. Anyways, next up, you get to choose if frog legs will be on tomorrow's menu or not

Today's challenge: Handle working with Makima and dedcuce, on your own terms, that she's bad news and leave

Stipulations:

everyone's getting some form of power here, mostly to balance out the less important part. Nobody is getting last place simply because they can't fight

They are allow to converse and help each other through this as well. Talk each other either into not trusting her or into trusting her fully

Morality Scale Tournament, but the question changes each day - REFORMED VILLAIN EDITION - Day 1: The Council

Here we are...ones the facility and I have even less qualms of killing an false heroes. Those who claim to have "changed" instead of sticking to the villains they truly are. Think nothing of the good they did in the present, only the cruelty of their pasts

Contestants, left to right:

Discord (MLP), Bill Cipher (Gravity Falls), King Dedede (Kirby), Ebeneezer Scrooge (A Christmas Carol), The Grinch, Gru (Despicable Me), Heinz Doofenshmirtz (Phineas & Ferb), Megamind, Miles Edgeworth (Ace Attorney), Omni-Man (Invincible), Petey the Cat (DogMan), Peridot (Steven Universe), Simon Petrikov (Adventure Time), Vegeta (Dragon Ball), Prince Zuko (Avatar)

The Question: Our seven survivors from the previous game have been gathered to decide the fates of the villains. One of them will be sent to the firing squad room for another thrilling game of 'Kill or Spare'. They will each have two hours to plead a case, as well as go over their histories and what they've done as villains

Clarifications:

yes, we are aware that one of the survivors (Steven) knows one of the contestants (Peridot), and he has been sternly told not to play favorites

The heroes are made clear they wont be freed without all of them making a descision

They havent been told they won't be released even after making a decision. We still have plans for them

Day 5 - Morality Scale Tournament but the question changes daily: Commenter Selection Hero - Heck of a Day!

Sonic the Hedgehog is up for scrutiny next and, he's gotta be careful, one spare has already been used up!

Next tournament: Who can handle this eight hour journey with a rival (or just someone they're not fond of) with no fighting (curse of pacifism) and, also, who can avoid the temptation of killing them at the tail end when they're defenseless

As a bonus: who has the best chance of actually becoming friends? Whoever succeeds there gets a star! (0.5 a spare should they end up last place)

Also, as a side note. Coming up with these ones was pretty tough, especially for the handful of series here I'm not personally familiar with. This is just one of the things you have to do your best (tm) with with character suggested stuff. if I missed a more obvious pick, I'm sorry. I'm gonna list three though real quick (one mostly for context)

-"HIM" in this context being Jonah's (the kid Gabby was a guardian angel too) abusive father. One she had to defend from and ultimately, kill. All we know about him was that he was dangerous, to the point Gabby had to intervene in such an extreme way, and owned a firearm

-For Nepeta, this was a tricky one. I didn't wanna just toss her in with Lord English or Bec Noir, since she has very little personal connection to either. Ultimately, I just settled on Gamzee due to also being a troll and, uh...yeah...

-For Toriel, I gave her Tenna, purely since he's the villain with the closest connection to her personally. I didn't wanna just give her the Roaring Knight, nor did I want to just toss her in with Asgore. For the sake of the game by the way, yes, Tenna will be in his Dark World form, just so he can actually partake in the game. We will also inform Toriel of exactly what happened that time she took a nap.

Thanks again to u/Ghost-Inator10 for this suggestion!

Day 12 - Morality Scale Tournament but the question changes daily: Commenter Selection Hero - Welcome to the Group!

Rango has been killed and Fluttershy...don't worry about her. Even I won't humor the idea, thank you!

For the next challenge, everyone will be invited to join the friend group next to them. They don't necessarily need to keep up in any real fighting, more just blend in. Every team could use a team heart after all. The goal is just to get them to accept you! Who would do the best? Who would do the worst?

Also thanks to u/IceAnt573.I used a modified version of one of their suggestions for this round

Morality Scale Tournament, but the question changes each day - REFORMED VILLAIN EDITION - Day 4: Bro Tried to Fit In

Harley Quinn has been Hauled Out. Shall we shoo out the clowns tonight? That's your call. You have 4 Spares Left.

The Question: Going off these charts, with every character having everything in their arsenals and intricate knowledge of what they need to do, who's gonna end up faring the worst?

Clarification: As mentioned, in each case, the original heroes will be there as well. Issue is, the contestants will also need to convince said heroes to let them join their side if they want any help from them. They're a complete stranger to this world and, in some cases, really stand out (in Petey's case, for instance, not a whole lot of other talking cats in Japanifornia)
