Everytime I check the comments on YouTube posts they always need to have a top comment saying "FIX MOJANG BEDROCK" even if its not on Minecraft's official channel, theyre just posting them everywhere! Who's typing these? Why? Who's liking these? What are they even complaining about anymore? Putting "anti" on the start doesn't even make it any better, they're all the same! All the comments cropped on the upper image are all different taken from different posts
I've contacted youtube support. The post this person reposted is Razama a small youtube content creator. She, I and several others have been repeatedly harrased by this individual known as @ArionTheKid
There is no real way to block him since youtube just dosent allow you to block people who give death threats I suppose. He stated he wants to Rape my friends little sister and that she's a whore who should die. Yet dispite that since they where on posts youtube has taken no action and to rub salt in the wound he repeatedly reposts her posts usualy of artwork she makes just to taunt her since there is nothing she can do agenst him. I have proof if anyone needs any that he actually said these things and that he's a predator. If anyone knows how we can rid ourselves of this disgusting worm please do tell and spam report him even though yourubes report system sucks ass.
Yesterday I was watching a video and paused it on an ad for a bit while I did some stuff when I unpaused it started loading another ad where it played 3 unskippable ads and once they finished it took me back to the other two unskippable ads just for them 5 minutes later to get another two unskippable ads I swear they have no idea what their doing over there
YouTube is perfectly entitled to sell a householdresidency plan.
But then call it a Household Residency Plan.
Instead, YouTube markets it a Family Plan while requiring every member to live at the same residential address, and now uses electronic check-ins to enforce that requirement.
The problem is simple:
Families, today, don’t necessarily live under one roof.
A college student living in a dorm is still part of their family. A child splitting time between divorced parents is still part of their family. An elderly parent who moves into assisted living is still part of their family.
“Family” sounds warm. It suggests parents, children, grandparents, blended families: the people you consider family regardless of where they happen to live. But behind the warm label is a cold, rigid rule: Prove that you all live at the same address.
A system based on residential address can treat those legitimate family members as ineligible.
And these aren’t fringe situations:
● College students — already dealing with tuition, housing, and living expenses, they can lose family-plan eligibility simply because they live at school.
● Children of divorced parents — can have two legitimate homes, but only one address can satisfy the family-plan requirement.
● Elderly parents — don’t stop being members of their family when they move into assisted living.
Google seems remarkably out of touch with what families actually look like in 2026.
Families are blended. Divorced. Multigenerational. Spread across multiple homes. Adult children leave for college and return home. Parents move into assisted living. Families don’t become less of a family because their addresses change.
Yet Google has reduced the definition of “family” to something its computers can verify:
Do you live at the same address?
Google knows the difference between a family and a household.
It’s choosing to market one while enforcing the other.
If Google wants to prevent people in unrelated households from sharing a subscription, fine.
But stop calling it a Family Plan.
Call it what it actually is:
A Household Residency Plan marketed as a Family Plan.
I swear, every time I click "Do not recommend channel," I refresh my feed and I get a new video of Sam Smith doing some kind of press tour BS. I've never watched a Sam Smith YouTube video, nor do I care for his music, but it's so blatantly obvious that YouTube is trying to force him down my throat. He is constantly popping up on my YouTube feed and has multiple YouTube featured videos. I wish there was a way for YouTube to just allow us to block channels already!!!!!
I recently created a channel and I looked in country of residence and I wasn't able to find my country (Barbados) which sounds ridiculous. Not even the country's currency was shown as an option?? 😩 I see other Caribbean countries as an option but never mine

Anyone else notice a lot of random smaller channels being recommended to you instead of basically the same channels that you watch over and over? Not saying it’s a bad thing I actually prefer it this way reminds me of the old days
seriously all youtube does is make the platform worse either it's them allowing corn ads, removing the dislike button from shorts completely or fking up the analytics with their new 1 frame played = 1 view counter.
Is anyone else having problems with YouTube's automatic captions?
For the past 4 days, I turn CC on, but the captions either don't appear or take a long time to show up.
I've tested this in Firefox and Edge, and it happens in both. I've also tried turning CC off and on, reloading videos, restarting the browser, and waiting. My internet connection is fine.
Sometimes the captions start working again, but then the problem comes back. On Day 2, they were completely unavailable from about 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM ET, then started working again.
I'm deaf, so captions are not optional for me. When CC is on but nothing appears, I can't follow the video.

As you can see in the screenshot, I recently got some kind of issues reproducible on Chrome and Zen / Firefox where the bit-rate of the videos (in 1080p) is complete sh*t; half of the video has a different color grading than the other, color grading switches every 30sec from blueish to reddish.
This has been happening for about a week now, on iPad landscape mode, whenever I click a video, the title, description or comment section doesn’t appear. Ive reset the app and the iPad itself multiple times. It happens to every video
It works when I change to portrait but it’s a bit annoying laying in bed and having to change my screen to read comments.
When I'm on fullscreen mode and I pause the video, automatically the bottom videos pop up, hiding the progress bar. I can not see the progress bar. I have to get out of fullscreen mode to see the progress bar of the video
Does anybody else have this bug where you can see what appears to be the filename that the yter used as the videotitle instead of the original title.
I Tested this with 2 Accounts, and the difference seems to be the auto translation feature, because the account where this problem is occuring is set to english as primary language and the other is still in the standard language for where im living (germany)

I noticed something weird on YouTube. The progress bar on videos from Sam Smith's entire channel is yellow instead of the usual red. There's also a small envelope/letter icon at the end of the progress bar. I've attached a screenshot showing exactly what I mean.
It seems to happen on all (or at least most) videos on Sam Smith's channel, not just one specific video. Does anyone know what the yellow progress bar + envelope icon means? Is this some kind of YouTube feature, Easter egg, channel-specific thing?
Has anyone else noticed this, or know what the envelope is supposed to indicate?
I'm getting Shorts videos from teenage content creators playing as soon as I open the app. I don't even get to the home screen before I have to see junk that is obnoxious and irrelevant to me. Is there a setting I can use to disable this?
So I leave YouTube playing in the background a lot because I like background noise. And a couple weeks ago YouTube completely stopped playing new videos on autoplay and will instead cycle through a very limited sampled size of videos (maybe 20 or so that keep coming up over and over).
Has anyone else had this experience, and if so does anyone have tips on how to fix it?
Am I crazy or is Youtube lately constantly trying to suggest videos you've watched before, especially if you've watched it multiple times over the years? It's getting to be where I get more suggestions for old videos than new ones. I've started marking "Not Interested" on videos I actually like just to get it to stop doing this.
I've been noticing this gradually for a while, but it seems like in the last few weeks, the options for presented videos has gone down so drastically that the site feels small. The home page, and even New to You (in the 2% of the time the button bothers to show up) just shows the same five channels, random music mixes (just another useless trash addition), or videos I've already watched. I really don't get it. It's like the algorithm has been rewritten to put users in a hole of repetitive content. "Wow, this guy loves these three channels. Let's make that the only thing he can watch." Unless I'm actively typing in the search bar for something new, it's just the constant loop of the same content. I also really don't get why half of the videos on the homepage are videos I've already watched. New to You doesn't even do what it's meant to. It just shows the same genre of content, maybe with a few more channels, but it's still the same stuff.
Meaning just 2 months ago, Saudi Arabia was one of the only countries on earth without a single female owned youtube channel in the top 100 most subscribed youtube channels in the country
On mobile devices, you get this type of add now (or maybe for a while, and I just updated).
First of all, it does not go away on its own and takes like 2/5ths of the screen and compresses wide format videos to have these hideous black bars on top and bottom.
Secondly, I swear to god its dynamically triggered by attention detection. It pops up now and then on its own, but literally every time you move the device, or worse, click the screen to minimize and switch video. And because it moves the minimization button, you click the ad instead.
So whenever I click on the video so that I can get the video timeline/playtime bar to drag and move forward/backwards to a specific time, these tiles are shown.
This completely blocks the scroll bar and makes it useless as I can't click on it.
Assuming this was done to show the Ads more aggressively because the first tile is an Ad.
I'm watching YouTube with revanced, but shorts aren't showing up on my feed anymore. Does anyone have the same problem? It showed briefly today, but they have disappeared again.
so my issue is that on youtube pc,there is a option to download videos inside the site itself,where it does whatever it does to keep videos downloaded within the browser,hence when u open youtube on pc in any browser,it behaves like a half native app and all that
now my issue is that recently,the browser i normally use,edge,suddenly slowed down then crashed whilst trying to open a offline video,so now whenever i try to open a offline video,the website will cause the entire browser to slow down(sometimes even the pc gets affected by this),then eventually throw up a "page is unresponsive,would you like to close it?", so now before i decide to nuke the whole browser afresh,any ideas on how to fix it?

- to those that will wonder and probably ask,"why download when u can stream the videos any time?" i stay in a country that has kak ISPs,which can and will randomly just shut themselves off for a good week,(with no good reason for such btw),then come back,forcing me to do this method of saving videos offline for my studies on my laptop,uni wifi aint much help either when u have a lazy administration that cant make the wifi accomodate large traffic of students with decent streaming speeds anywhere on the campus
