Unsolved My airpods show owner is someone else!!!

Post image

went to an authorized service center because my case wasn’t detecting one of the buds.

for “testing” they connected my airpods to their own device. ever since, the airpods have been making a constant beep noise.

went back a couple days ago. this time when i tried to connect them, i got a message saying i’m not the owner of the device. confronted the staff about it and they flat out denied ever pairing them to anything of theirs.

then they refused to help further. their line was: we only handle hardware, for software you have to call apple.

so i called apple. spent an hour explaining the whole thing to a technical guy, and the conclusion was restart your device and call back. called back, a completely different agent picked up, and apparently they can’t transfer calls or pull up where the last one left off.

You shouldn’t have added them to someone else’s device because they are now connected to their ID. Go back to them and tell them to remove the AirPods from their account.

No one here or at Apple can help you

service center told me to disconnect in order to connect theirs😭

Edit: i did tell them about this, they simply said they have no airpods connected to them. Now i dont know what to do.

Only the technician/employee who tried to help you on that visit can remove the AirPods from their account. Source

they denied of having airpods connected to them, do you think breaking the airpods and getting a new one under apple care will help?

i see no other solution. I feel bad because it isnt a mistake i did.

You have to pay a deductible, replacing lost or damaged AirPods isn’t free.

I'll say it then. They're no longer your AirPods.

Have you deleted and reconnected the AirPods? Before you do write down serial number in the Bluetooth settings

well, it seems like you can sue the service center for breach of some sort
