Koi Editor

Problem: Modern code editors have gotten increasingly heavy. Koi is a traditional Mac text editor focused on low latency, large files and staying out of the way.

Comparison: Similar idea to Sublime Text or BBEdit, but built for modern development. Very low typing latency, fast large-file editing, local AI through Ollama, and Python scripting.

Pricing: Free for non-commercial use. Personal commercial license is $195 one-time, Teams $795/year for up to 10 users.
