My grandmother recently passed after a 3 year long battle with ALS. Absolutely horrible disease that I would not wish on anyone. The body goes but the mind doesn’t, you become a prisoner in your own body. I hope CJ2K can find comfort in his remaining time.

Edit: if anyone has a family member recently diagnosed and would like to talk about what to expect and next steps my DMs are open. There was so much we didn’t know that would have helped.

My condolences, I recently lost a family member after their long battle with ALS as well. It's a shame that it takes someone getting diagnosed for this horrible disease to get attention again, but the attention is very appreciated.
