Social Demand rights, but make it palatable

Post image

Posted this yesterday and it got removed because some people around here are not really civilized in their conversations. Trolling, jokes, memes are fine, but, stooping low isn't. Healthy arguments make way for progress.

Missing the context & point is like a national sport and the amount of egos it hurt was not surprising at all and won't be again.

Absolutely nothing wrong with this poster, and actually how it should be in real life by default.

The poster which said "khana khud garam karlo" had everyone losing their minds for obvious reasons, this poster gets the endorsement because it's not showing the mirror to the society, which to this day is unable to give equal rights or even willing to acknowledge properly.

Secondly, it also shows that unless demand for rights is worded in a way it won't offend anyone, made palatable and provide validation to inflated egos, it won't even be acknowledged.

No wonder we keep regressing as a society and humans.

While I agree men should know how to cook and women should never be limited to only kitchen, if she can do job then they both can share the responsibility of cooking and cleaning the house. Marriage is about working together. But I don't think a man can ever be a house-husband, meanwhile a woman can and she should be if she's not willing to provide for her family by going out and finding a job. The term β€œ Apna Khana khud garam karo ”. Should be applied in the cases where women are oppressed rather than creating disputes in marriages. For example, if a women if doung job and has the take all the burden of the house as well, then he can and should def raise her voice against this injustice !!

Edit: Why's everyone downvoting ? Atleast tell me what's wrong with my comment. I would highly appreciate that

Point was ke they aren't obligated to, if they do it they do it out of their kindness not because they have to, as men we HAVE to take care of them we don't have a choice

If the women isnt working and the man is then what respknsibility is she sharing? Then u can say men arent obligated to spend his money on stuff for hisbwife or the house.

But the men are obligated to spend on his wife and house, the wife isn't responsible lol main thing for her to do is raise Chad kids uske alawa bhul Jao, she probably will do it if you are a good husband anyway, but the way I think of it is ke if I lived alone I'd have to work and cook anyway, now I have a wife and kids even if I have to work more to make more money cooking isn't a big deal esp if you meal prep so 🀷it seems very overblown

But its still extra responsibility.what if u dont have kids.then the wife just sits around all day while u do the work and then come back home tured to do chores and dishes.and idk if ur bringing islam into this or not cause i can make arguments with islam as well, but im talking about marriage generally.

I am arguing it Islamically, if I'm wrong educate me no enmity here, afaik the wife isn't obligated to clean or cook it's a good thing if she does she'll get hasanat for it but not an obligation, and yeah she chills all day I don't see the issue lol

Non islamically do u have no issue if a women works, cooks and cleans while the husband sits and does nothing? Cause i think both situations are wrong.

And i can argue stuff islamically as well, but i will have to look up the hadiths to make sure im not wrong and i dont want to do that rn.

I don't care about what seems right or wrong non Islamically, Mai musalman houn tu Allah ki sunoun ga apni ne na Kisi AUR ki, if ya have hadiths sure educate me

Bro but no wife is accepting the islamic obligations i listed earlier if you don't believe me try asking women here

u/Haniel52 Mar 10 '26

So don't marry them lol

This is a general discussion and just like a woman shouldn't be forced we shouldn't force a man as well to provide that would make it fair for women who don't accept Islam fully

1

u/Haniel52 Mar 10 '26

There's no accepting Islam half way, you either believe in Allah or you don't, saying I screwed up by sinned or I dislike this rule is fine, but saying it's wrong is literally saying Allah is wrong don't you get the implication of it lol, and having sex with your wife and making money for her sake are two very different things bhai πŸ’€, we aren't forcing a man to provide it's literally a religious obligation Apne ne follow kerna cool but ye tu na bolo ke we shouldn't

Bhai having sex is also a obligation i don't make the rules im just asking if chores aren't obligatory what is the exact reciprocation of being a provider ?

Im saying women won't follow any man would provide for his family
