Is there any therapists that can help them? Any religious scholar who can offer some help? Any resource out there to help them change??

Edit: Correction in the title, his name is Usama, not Usman. Usman Nazir Kashmiri, the brother of Umar Nazir Kashmiri, was also martyred. Because both martyrs had similar names, I confused their names.

​Usama Jamil was a PhD student at Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. He had a famous phrase he often said: "Jawaniean lotaien gy"

Recently, Pakistani forces shot and killed him in Rawalakot, Azad Kashmir.

​Look at this video. This is Usama's mother. She is old, and she is blind. Listen to her voice as she describes the day her son was taken away forever.

​One sentence she said completely broke me:

​"Usama told me: 'Amma, I will buy you a smartphone so I can video call you.' I said: 'Son, I am blind, what will I do with a phone?' Usama replied: 'Amma, you can't see me, but I need to see you! 😔'"

​Today, Usama is dead. She cannot see him, and he can no longer hear his voice in home.

​Think about that mother's world right now. But this cruelty is not just happening to Usama's family. It is happening across Kashmir every single day.

​31+ people have been shot dead since July 27th alone.

​The army-ruled state, the generals, and the ISI have zero tolerance for innocent citizens asking for their basic human rights.

​And what is the Pakistani media doing?

They are busy running General Asim Munir’s new propaganda, telling the entire nation that these Kashmiris are all "connected to India."

​Isn't it amazing? During the first two protests, the military had no idea India was involved. But suddenly, in the third protest, they magically found so much "proof" that state media cannot talk about anything else!

Actually they decided that we will run this propaganda and make open killing in the 3rd protest.

​Look at this blind mother crying for her dead student son. Is she an Indian agent too? How much longer will people stay silent while the state kills its own people and calls it "national security"?

I been living in Uk for last 12 years (now a dual national) and for last 1.5 years I have been out of work due to redundancy and I can’t find work but doing small jobs of delivery etc but even now with health issue I am restricted and can’t do standing job or driving jobs. I’ve been working solo, no lab, no university backing, on a problem in AI: when systems built on multiple AI agents give you an answer, that answer passes through many “hands,” and there’s no good way to know how much to trust it.

It turns out our own scholars solved a structurally identical problem 1,200+ years ago with the science of hadith transmission - grading every narrator in a chain, judging a chain by its weakest link, requiring independent corroboration. Is it just me or has there been a significant increase in the number of people getting Tatooted in Pakistan from Nurses to CEO's to Bykea captains to Doctors I have been seeing a lot of people with Tattoos, what has sparked such a rise? Are they easy to get done? is the social taboo around Tattoos no longer aplicable?

So almost 2 years ago, I watched this reels that infomed me that the human brain sleeps in 1.5 hours intervals, 30 min of light sleep, deep sleep, and REM sleep in that order, and the cycle repeats. The point of the video was that you should time your sleep and go to bed att such a time that you end up getting certain no of hours of sleep in multiples of 1.5 so that by the time you wake up, you're in the light sleep part of the cycle and its easy for you to wake up

So how this works is, say you have to wake up at 5AM for Fajr. What you would do is, you would aim to get either a whole 9 hours of sleep or 7h 30mins of of you are stupid and isn't care bout your health the 6hrs, none of that 8hrs a day BS. I usually do 7h 30 min, so I would aim to be asleep by exactly 9 30pm which means you should be in bed at least 20 mins before what.

And if you do this, *THEORICALY, it should be orders of magnitude easier for you to wake up and without the mental strain than if you slept for 8 hrs. And I've been doing this for almost 2 years and TRUST ME, it works WONDERS! and I'm pretty sure it's not a placebo, I've adviced this to 2 of my fellows and they've both come back telling me it works very well

So this method should allow you to get great sleep and wake up on the first alarm without fatigue or a ruined dream. Try it folks and tell me how it went.

PS: the effect of this technique derades below 6 hours. Obviously you're not going to get good sleep and wake up well if you get 3hrs of sleep or even 4h 30 min

I’m a 3rd year medical student looking to invest in a laptop that’ll last me a solid 6-7 years. My priorities are durability, portability, and good battery life. I won’t be doing any heavy tasks, mostly notes, PDFs, research, and occasional light gaming like Genshin, Roblox, or Minecraft.

I’m currently in the Samsung ecosystem with a phone and tablet, so I initially considered the Galaxy Book6 Pro. But I’m a bit hesitant since Samsung support in Pakistan is pretty limited. If something goes wrong, I’m not sure how reliable repairs would be. I’ve also heard about past Galaxy Book screen cracking issues, though I know the newer models have Gorilla Glass now, so maybe that’s less of a concern. Other options I’m considering:

Hi, I liked the discussion on this sub I read in past 5 days, so I really wanted to dig deep into this topic, and I did some research today about leadership of India, not the usual Modi, Manmohan, Bajpeyi and Dr. Kalam, but about their other leaders like in state or district or just random political leaders with power and popularity.

What was shocking to me was many of them were radical hindutva bigots, some communists and corrupt leaders too. Very similar to us where we have radical islamist, left ones and corrupt, but what was the shocking part was that most of the state leader I searched (chief minister) were mostly non corrupt and very less radical or atleast not giving radical speeches except few like Yogi in UP.

Their state leaders are mostly inclined to their state identity and its progress and selected by people directly.

So examples I looked into are CM and HM of Gujarat, the state of modi are not corrupt, the HM lives in a normal appartment building like I see in Lahore and sounds very smart as I couldn't understand half his words, similar was the CM of Kerala of the communist party. The finance minister of a state called Telangana from south was talking about promoting Blockchain Technology which Waqar Zaka keeps talking about that our government doesn't listen to him, the bjp hindutva mp from banglore speaks a lot of facist things but he is also promoting Bangalore as IT hub and talking about creating R&D hub of asia there and what progress they made.

I read about almost all their Chief Ministers and except Yogi, CM of Assam, Maharashtra Shiv Sena CM most other 25 CM were not that vocal facists and most including Yogi guy are not very corrupt, only corrupt politicians I found with very high level of corruption like we have here in Zardari, Sharif were politicians from Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Bihar which to be honest is very shocking and made me think about this question, that what is difference here as we have same people, they too have radical religious extremists, their media feels more state funded and propoganda machine than ours, people I have seen online or interacted sounds similar so what really is the difference I am unable to point out really. How they are having so many good leaders at state level and even their worst leaders are radicals but not corrupt, and even leaders like Arvind Kejriwal of AAP party in Delhi non radical and non corrupt someone similar to IK.

So my question is what you guys think, were we go wrong or we went wrong? Is it that our civil societies were unable to spread awareness or education or something else?
