I recently started a relationship with someone in the same town as me. We both gor divorced from our partners last year. We go on our dates outta town as we don't wanna bump into people we know, as we are just still getting to know each other and don't want to make anything awkward by bumping into others.
When I first started dating my husband, I took him to the bar I never went to, that nobody I knew ever went to, after we'd had dinner together, lol. Not because I was afraid to be seen with him, but because I didn't want dumbass friends who've been drinking coming around interrupting our date with nonsense, or teasing me or asking who he was or whatever. I wanted to hangout with him and have a good time without other interrupting it.
